Julia POV
We got to a pretty town that seemed calm and very relaxing, but we smelled a lot of humans, some supernaturals, but it worried me. Emmett said, “this place is neutral territory, but most humans in this town are drawn here because they have some sort of a supernatural lineage. You’re safe here, but while here call me Uncle Emmett and use our middle names.” I just responded with an, “okay” in a very small voice, but I know he heard me. When we stepped into the restaurant, Savannah hugged us all, but she smelled funny, but I couldn’t tell what it was till I heard Emmett ask her, “why do you smell like you’ve been fighting with a werebear.” She smirked and said, “I was, but he’s cool,” as she looked over her shoulder at a guy that stood at around 6’9”-7’ tall with dirty blond hair and what looked like grey eyes who had just walked into the restaurant. “Come you all must be hungry come on we’re about to eat dinner” she said as she pulled me and my brother and sister over to a table in the back.
I sat down extremely nervous because I smelled other supernaturals, but I couldn’t tell what species they were. I really wish they had allowed us omegas to continue our education, so we could learn to differentiate the species. Of course, our pack did not. They wanted to keep us dumb and enslaved. I really am glad Emmett came back for us when he didn’t have any real ties to us at all. Food was brought over, and we started eating and everyone started making small talk.
