Savannah POV (Cont) It hurt that my parents hadn’t arranged for me to be safe, and I was about to say something when Emmett spoke up, “Alpha, the reason your parents didn’t arrange for you to be sent away is that I was supposed to be here to get you away. On the way back, I encountered an accident that had the highway blocked off, and I wasn’t near trees, or I would have shifted and got here. By the time things got cleared up, and I arrived, you were gone and no trace of your scent, but as your oath bound warrior I used it to track you.
