"Come di be fast, we are getting late."

"Coming. Why are you in a hurry? Is Viren waiting for you?"

"Di please, he is in his office."

"Girls, take this and buy whatever you want."

"Bye ma." Both the girls waved their ma and went away.

They went for their shopping spree. They went from store to store and bought many things. It was past lunchtime by the time they finished. Vasudha was famished and was craving a milkshake. They went to the food court and placed their orders.

"Priya, Veer would be joining in a short while. I hope you won't mind." Vasudha was fidgeting with her fingers as she was not sure of her sister's reaction.

"Di, firstly he is your husband and the father to the little one in your tummy. I didn't let you go, as there was no one to take care of you both."

" Hey, wifey and my little sister. I didn't interrupt anything." Veer came near their table. He squeezed his wife's shoulder.

" Hey, jijaji(brother-in-law). How are you?" Priya waved at her brother in law

" Not fine without my wifey." He held a sullen look on his face.

" For that, you will have to wait". Priya winked.

"Priya, I have got this for you ". He handed her a blue velvet box. She opened it and was amazed at the sight of the components of the box.

" Priya show it to me."

"Wow, amazing watch". It was a jewellery watch like a bracelet with jewels adorned on it.

Their food arrived and all of them devoured themselves in the sumptuous delicacies they had ordered. Veer got up to go as he had some urgent work.

Priya had her appointment for the pre-bridal procedure in the spa of the mall. Vasudha was feeling exhausted which is why she went with Veer. Although Veer offered to come and pick her up she denied it.

It was quite late by the time her treatment wrapped up. She was coming out of the mall when a car stopped in front of her and the window glided, "get in."

" Why should I? I don't go with strangers." Priya tried walking away from the car.

"You don't know me." The person got down and came near her.

"Puneet", she exclaimed and hugged him."When did you come and who's car is this?"

"Some hours back. I had some work in the office for which I had to stay here for some days and I had taken holiday for the marriage. This is the company's car. I have been assigned to work here. Come let's go no one knows I'm back." Puneet tugged her arm and made her sit on the passenger seat. After securing the seat belt, he went to the driver's side.

On the outskirts of the city in an old warehouse, two men were sitting. The leader was looking furious

"I had arranged for everything, even spiked her drink so that you can tackle her easily. You were not able to make a video with her."

"Please give me one more chance".

" No, I will manage on my own . You keep hiding till I instruct you".

He goes away giving him instructions.

ONE WEEK LATER

Today was their mehndi function which was jointly arranged by both the families at the terrace of the building they were living in.

Priya came all decked up in her lehenga with only long earrings as her jewellery with a

nude look. She was looking gorgeous, every eye turned towards her.

She sat on a little high notch, where two girls were applying Mehandi on her hands.

"Make exclusive designs on her hand and conceal Viren's name in such a way that he can not find it," Vasudha instructed them.

" Viren came and sat near Priya." Deepti grabbed Viren's hand and made him sit near her.

After some time Deepti brought a plate full of food and gave it to Viren,

"Viren takes this and feed her."

"Why me, she can feed herself." Viren scrunched his face at the thought of feeding Priya.

"Chachi Viren must be feeling very happy in his heart and just showing off." Viraj said in a teasing tone.

"Hey Priya, you are looking gorgeous". Anika complimented.

"Chachi let us leave them alone so that they can enjoy their food or better have each other instead of food." Viraj jokes.

"Viraj stop teasing my son . Come let us have dinner".

" Viren Ji call di, she can feed me. I know it is awkward for you." Priya tried to ease things up with Viren.

"Go without feeding you, Chachi would be annoyed with me and everyone would make fun of me." Viren feed her a morsel.

Viren Ji, please go and have dinner. I will feed her. Everyone is waiting for you." Hema told Viren.

Haldi was to take place at their respective houses. At first, Viren would be applied and then the ladies with Deepti will go to Priya's house for her haldi. Deepti instructed Diya about the ritual she has to perform. She was supposed to bring water in a pot and splash it on Viren after which he will take a bath.

"Bhai Viraj bhai told me to do so.".

There was a smirk on Viraj's face." I took my revenge for what you did to me at my wedding."

"It was only sprite Viraj but it is something else very sticky."

"Bro go and take a bath quickly, otherwise ants will follow you. This is sugar syrup." Ajay chuckled.

At Priya's place, the same rituals were performed but she was in a better spot.

The day passed by quickly and by the time everyone realised it was evening. They started getting ready. In Viren's room, he was getting ready when his mobile pinged with a message. There was a video and he was stunned at seeing it. Instantly he called back the number but it was out of coverage. He then requested Viraj to come to his room

"Are you feeling nervous? It is ok to feel like that ."

"It is not that . Have a look ". He tossed the mobile at Viraj.

Viraj was stunned." What will we do bro?"

"I don't know " he sat facepalming.
