Third-person pov A punch lands on the man's face, he lifts his head and is face to face with a furious Viren. He pulls him from Priya and starts punching and kicking him ."How dare you touch my wife?" Blood was oozing from his lips, but Viren was unstoppable. It took two security men and the manager to pull him. His eyes were red with anger. Security took him away. "Is this the way you run my hotel? When my wife, the owner's wife, is not safe, then what about the security of the guests." His eyes were red with anger, the veins of his temples throbbing and he was breathless. Priya was sitting in a very pathetic condition, her knees were brought up to her chest and she had buried her head in her knees. Her whimpering stopped Viren from shouting more. Immediately he covered her with his coat. "Find out who the man is and sue him or else you will be fired." Scooping her in his arms in a bridal style he ran to his room muttering sorry Priya under his breath."I should not have left you." He laid Priya on the bed, but she hugged him tightly and was not ready to leave him. “Priya, I'm sorry. You are my wife, my responsibility, I should not have left you all on yourself. If I would have conducted my responsibility, this would not have taken place.” He bowed his head and was unable to look into her eyes as he was feeling guilty for leaving her alone. “Virenji it was not your fault I was alone, and I should have kept my mind and eyes open. On second thought, how on earth did you find me.” Priya hugged him and patted his back to reduce his burden of guilt. “When I didn't find you anywhere, I started watching the CCTV footage. It was then I saw you talking to one of the staff. When that person was confronted, he told me that you were inquiring about the direction of the theatre. The manager used the spare key card to open it. I am thankful for the stars that I reached on time. Go and change, meanwhile, I will place the order for dinner." "Please don't leave." "I won't go anywhere. Just call the room service. If I stay, how will you change? " " I'm a hell of frightened." Their conversation was interrupted by the ring of the doorbell. The manager was standing with the trolley full of food and a bottle of wine. “Sir I have personally come here to deliver your dinner, and this is one of the finest wines which is complimentary with the dinner. I'm very sorry for whatever happened to madam, and sincerely hope she is fine.” “Were you able to trace who he was ?” “Sir, he was an outsider who had come to meet one of the guests. He had accompanied the guests and after the guest whom he had come to meet left, he attempted an assault on madam. He had been put behind the bars” “Fine. This is the last time I'm leaving you. It should not be repeated in future with anyone else or you would be fired. Did you book my tickets ?. He nodded.” You may go now.” In the meantime, Priya had changed into her PJs and t-shirt. “Come and have dinner” “I don't feel like it. I'm a hell of tired and want to sleep.” “You are a very good girl, come and have your dinner.” “Don't coax me, I'm not a baby”. “But you are behaving like one.” Slowly she got up and went near the trolley. A loud growling sound was heard. “Someone was not hungry.” Viren chuckled. She hit him on the shoulder. Viren was doing everything in his power to distract Priya from the unfortunate incident, and Priya was complying with him. After dinner, Viren asked her to show what she had bought in her binge shopping. She showed him everything wearing a facade and trying to be normal, she was trembling from inside, having goosebumps on imaging if Viren had not arrived, what would have happened. To drown herself and to forget everything, she snapped the wine bottle and gulped it down her throat. Viren snatched the bottle from her. "Priya, what are you doing? You have no tolerance for alcohol.' " Please let me drink, people say it erases all sorrows and soothes the nerves." "Please, dear. Listen to me. Let us share it. Give me your glass." Viren Pov I have a low tolerance for alcohol, but I'm dead sure Priya has no tolerance as she has never drunk. To stop her from drinking, I will have to drink. Both were drunk. Priya got up and came near Viren. Pulling his hand she spoke, "Viren, I want to dance. Dance with me na please." "How will we dance without music?" "Let me play some music." To avoid it he tells Priya "I'm feeling sleepy, let's go and sleep." He didn't want the situation to get out of control. "I want to dance, I'm not at all sleepy." Viren started dancing again. A little later he felt no moment from Priya, he could hear soft snores. He lifted her and laid her in bed and covered her with a duet. After switching off the light and music he lays on his side and drifts to a deep slumber almost immediately. A scream wakes him up." Leave me, you p*****t. Don't touch me. Please save me." It took a moment for Viren to register that it was Priya who was shouting. Not knowing what to do he splashed water on her face. She woke up with a jolt. Her head was spinning. She hugged him as if her life depended on it." Please don't leave me, he will r**e me, he will come here ". She spoke in between sobs.
