Deepti welcomed them with open arms. This mansion was identical to the one which is her home. Except for the fact that it was warmer and the colour scheme was vibrant. They sat at the dining table. Priya got up to serve everyone with the help of housemaids. There were many delicacies. They enjoyed the breakfast chitchatting. Priya and Viren talked about their trip and showed the pictures to everyone.

Priya took out the gifts they had brought for everyone.

"Wow bhabhi, this kit is so nice. It has everything I need. Thank you so much". She hugged Priya.

" Where is my gift bhabi or did you forget?me?"Suraj pouted.

“Give me your hand ''. Priya asked a confused Suraj.

“Sweetheart, you already have my hand. Why do you need another hand?”Viren teased her.

“Dear hubby, you don't understand anything. Suraj, do you want your gift or not.”

Hastily Suraj forwarded his hand towards Priya. The elders in the room were enjoying their little banters. Priya took the watch out of the case and tied it to Suraj’s wrist. Suraj jumped with joy and hugged Priya. Viren came near them and pulled him away from Priya.

“Move away, she is my wife and not yours, go and find one for yourself,” Viren spoke in faking anger.

“Why don't you find one for me, like bhabhi.'' Suraj chuckled.

“Bhai that is not fair, you bought a watch for Suraj and that too is an expensive one and just a makeup kit for me.”

“We have something more for our princess.”

“Take this.” Priya handed her a paper bag. Diya opened it and was amazed to see its contents.

"Bhabi, this is magnificent." Diya excitedly told Priya.

" Show me Diya. What is so magnificent?" Deepti came forward to look in the paper bag that Diya was holding. She gaped, it was a Chanel, camel brown combo backpack with a sling bag and a wallet.

"Priya, it is amazing."

"Thank you, Chachi. I'm glad that Diya loved it."

"I think we all should depart, as we all are supposed to go to work," Viren spoke while getting up.

"Dad, if you grant permission, I want to resume my work in the office."

"Priya, why don't you work with me?".

" Chachi, I would love to, but it is just that I love my previous work more."

"Or you don't want to leave the opportunity to be with your husband. Better to keep an eye on your husband." Deepti whispered. Priya blushed hearing the remark but didn’t deny anything.

Priya started going to the office with Viren. She was his PA just like before. They would have their moments in between the office hours.

It was one such day, just before lunch, there was a knock on Viren's office door," come in".

He was surprised to see the person, "you can just barge in. You don't need to knock."

"I need to follow the rules of the office. This is not my house."

" This is not your house but your husband's office and you have full right to barge in."

"This is my boss's cabin and I need to knock".

Viren came forward and caressed her cheeks. Then he pulled her into a hug and started prepping her face with kisses and started nibbling her lips, involuntarily a moan escaped. The door opened and someone entered.

" Oh ! my God. I should leave."

Hearing the voice both were embarrassed, and they turned to the source of the voice. They saw a female's back.

"Who dares to enter my cabin without my permission?"

The lady turned and he was again surprised.

"It's me and I'm sorry to disturb your moment. I did knock on the door but you didn't hear it. I thought maybe you are not in the cabin."

"Don't be sorry Jen, you are always welcome." Viren hugged her.

"Before I forget, I want to give you good news. I'm getting engaged to Theon on Saturday. I have come to invite you both."

"Congrats Jen, so happy for you " Priya spoke while hugging her.

"Congrats Jen. We will come." Viren spoke while ascertaining her arrival.

"Ok, guys I have to go now. See you "

Jen left inviting them. After lunch, both went to buy a gift for them as it was Thursday and the engagement was on Saturday.

Two days later

"Priya, how much time will you take to get ready? It is getting late." Viren was sitting on the couch waiting for his wife to get ready. The moment she came out of the walk-in closet, he was awestruck. She was wearing a Lavender saree with pearl work on it and a matching low-cut blouse. Her hair was open and loosely curled, she had applied shimmery eyeshadow, mascara pink lip colour, she wore a diamond necklace and matching earrings and bracelet, and completed her look with silver stilettos.

"I'm sure I'm not looking good," Priya exclaimed.

"Who said that? Instead, I'm thinking of dropping the idea of going and spending time with my wife. I would love to remove this saree. Moreover, I don't want all the men in the party to ogle at my stunning wife ."

Priya was blushing hearing lovely words from her husband.

"Let's move." Slightly smacking his shoulder.

When they arrived at the venue, there was quietness and it was as calm as midnight.

"Viren, have we arrived at the right place? Why is it so quiet? Nobody can be seen."

"She has told me that the ceremony would take place at her home. Let us go inside."

When they entered, they were shocked as it was calm and quiet and they couldn't find anybody. Jen appeared in her comfy clothes.

"Hey, Viren and Priya. Come inside."

"What is happening, where is everyone?."

"Viren calm down. I will tell you everything. First, have something to drink."

She served them some mocktails. They started with drinks and starters.

"Theon's grandmother fell sick and was hospitalised. His parents were unable to come, even Theon had to go, that is why the engagement was called off." Jen explained everything with a straight face. Not a single sign of remorse was there.

"You didn't inform us ."

"My parents wanted to meet Priya, therefore I didn't inform you both. Unfortunately, some urgent work came and they had to go out of town."

Priya was having a gut feeling that something bad is about to transpire. She was not getting good vibes from Jen.

"Back to earth, wifey. What were you thinking?"

"Nothing. Where is Jen?"

"She has gone to serve the dinner," Viren informed coming closer to her. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

"Dinner is ready. Please come." Jen informed them.

Dinner went well. They enjoyed themselves a lot.

The next morning when Viren woke up he was unable to recognize his surroundings.

“Where am I? This doesn't look like my room. My head is throbbing with pain and I'm feeling dizzy.” Viren thought while massaging his forehead. He turned to find Priya who was missing. He got dumbstruck. As he was feeling thirsty, he gulped water from the bottle. He got up to find Priya but was stunned to see that he was stark n***d.

“Oh God, why am I n***d. I never sleep n***d even after our lovemaking. Did I cheat on Priya?” He was thinking and trying to recollect his memories. He did remember some pieces but was confused about Priya’s whereabouts.
