Andrea and Daniel had been back at the pack house for over a month now. The transition was a little hard at first but they both agreed that they made the right choice. The First worry they had was being treated different. That had never happened. They found out that because they had create a type of sanctuary outside the pack house the members were very excited to go see them and help the move process. Andrea was glad that Anthony's promise had stayed intact. Several of the members even helped Andrea learn where everything was, and had even made changes to the pack house so she could make the things she wanted to instead of always relying on others to make her food. When Charlie had first come to the pack house many members had been annoyed with him. Now they constantly offered to take him for a walk. Some of the member had even created a little room for him that was right off of Andrea's so he could go hide from the children that wanted to climb all over him. Daniel's room was right next to Andrea's giving her the sense that she was not alone even with the warm welcome they had gotten. The one member that made Andrea laugh was Anthony. He was almost ripping at the seams with how proud he was when he had her personal bathroom renovated to suit her needs. He made sure her shower was big enough that she wouldn't fall or bump into anything, but small enough that she could find all of her soaps and the water faucet as well. He also made sure she had her own bathtub that automatically shut off when it reached the appropriate height to avoid overfilling.
Andrea and Daniel had told Anthony they would move back in but they still wanted to work at the shop. Anthony agreed on one condition. He hired a few more people so that way they could all be there for each other. To help with the extra people Anthony worked with the town to buy the shop next to hers and turn it into an outdoor seating arrangement. This way people who preferred to be outside could be outside comfortably any time of the year. Anthony had told her how he had gone to a restaurant that actually had heating lamps scattered through out the outside that it allowed people to stay outside and still stay warm.
Since the construction was still going on Andrea took the time to getting the shop ready for the next day. It was time for the annual ball that each pack held in town once a year. This allowed members from the other packs to meet with new people and hopefully find the mate they were searching for. It had been very successful the years prior that Anthony wanted to try something new. He wanted to add one more pack to the party. The pack was smaller than the original packs that did this, but that was only because they were farther outside The town, and had mostly kept to themselves. Seeing as how they were so small an attack would be horrendous to them. So Anthony had worked it out that all three packs would be able to rely on each other incase anything happened.
Even though the ball was in a different location tonight, Andrea still had to make sure the shop would be ready for the crowd the next morning. The next morning the new mates and friends would come to her shop to get more time with each other and enjoy coffee or food knowing that they would not be interrupted. Andrea had a few last checks to make before her and Daniel would go back to the pack house and get ready. The week prior was a little difficult, partially because she did not know what she would be wearing. Daniel assured her that what they had picked was beautiful on her, she just missed the fact that she was not able to actually see how she looked now. "Your over thinking again." Daniels voice came from behind her giving her a little bit of a start "Come on, there's nothing else we can do here," Daniel linked his hand into her and pulled her away from the cleaning supplies she was organizing. "Lets go get you ready."
"Whats the point of trying to make me look appealing, Daniel?" She asked allowing him to lead her away "We both know I lack the one thing that will help me know who my mate is."
Daniel pulled her into a hug and whispered into her head "You Never know what the Goddess will give you, until it is given." Andrea smiled at Daniel and nodded her head.
Back at the pack house Andrea and Camille were attempting to get her into her dress and keep her hair from coming undone. Camille had already laughed herself onto the floor three times when Andrea claimed she felt like a horse getting ready to be paraded around just to fall short of the finish line. "I'm being serious," Andrea said to her, pretending she could see around her "Just watch as soon as I walk into the ballroom, I'll trip on my own shadow and fall right on my face, I'd probably just be fine already looking like a clown."
Camille burst into laughs again "Andrea!" She exclaimed "I'm pretty sure Daniel will fall first before you do." This got Andrea to bust out laughing now."
"Alright how do I look," Andrea held her hands out and looked in the direction of Camille's voice. Camille sighed and gave Andrea a hug. "Shall we?" Andrea said breaking the hug and taking Camille's hand. They walked outside the pack house and got into vehicle that was waiting to take them to the ball. 'We'll see what happens' Andrea thought as the vehicle drove off.
