My Crush

I have a girl in the office that I like. Her name is Lara, and she is our boss in the backend team.

I don't know why, but I feel happy whenever I see her. I even confessed to her that I have a crush on her in the middle of our officemates.

She laughed when she found out that I have a crush on her. She loves plants, and sometimes she orders a plant from one of our officemates, and I was the one who delivered it to their house. She couldn't even look at me properly, maybe because she was shy.

One time, while she was at work, she collapsed due to fatigue. She was immediately taken to the hospital and was admitted there for a week. Her body was really weak and she could hardly move properly.

When I learned about it, I immediately went to the hospital, bringing fruits. When I arrived at the hospital, I met her sister and mother while she was resting.

I introduced myself to Lara's sister and mother that I am Lara's officemate and she is our boss. They were pleased with the fruits I brought and they immediately washed them.

We started talking, and I told Lara's sister and mother that Lara collapsed due to work fatigue. She often goes home late, even on her days off she works and is probably over-fatigued.

Lara's parents and sister replied, "That's true, Jayson. Do you know that even during our family dinner, she still answers emails and calls? We told her not to respond as she doesn't have work. Lara is very dedicated to her work, hardly taking any breaks, which is why her body gave in and she collapsed."

Lara also loves coffee, almost never missing to drink coffee every day at Starbucks.

She also often goes on vacation to Japan because they have a house there, and once a year they vacation with her family.

She is a kind person, even though she is a boss, you wouldn't think so because we treat each other like friends.
