*trigger warning* r a i n The more we recall a memory, the more the detail of that memory fades away . It's the decay theory my former therapist once explained to me . The more you revisit a memory , the more the vividness of it fades . The memory stays , but the qualities disperses over time . It always fascinated me , how our minds could rip away pieces of a memory . But , as I stand here , frozen in my spot and unable to inhale enough oxygen to function , I'm convinced there must be something wrong with my brain because those same brown eyes piercing through me haven't changed in color or dulled in rage whenever it flickered through my mind .
