r i v e n I roll down the car windows , reaching for the pack of cigarettes in the middle compartment and push one between my bruised lips . I lean forward and turn up the volume, Knee socks by Arctic monkeys filling the silent car and I sigh, patting down my pockets for the lighter . I flick the lighter and watch the small fire dance and bring it toward the end of my cigarette and inhale a deep drag, filling my yearning lungs and exhale . I shift the car gears and race down the street, serving past cars . I didn't intend to see Rain tonight , and to be quite f*****g frank, I would choose to not have her see me like this— but this f*****g gnawing feeling inside my chest turns primal and refuses to go to sleep without seeing her . It's getting f*****g frustrating , but in the most thrill
