Everything seems to move so slowly as Kayden guides me into a tree house near the cliff. I didn't even know that it was there at all. The feeling of being in his arms intensified since we had already marked each other.
"What is this place?" I asked curiously when we got inside.
"This is one of my secret places. Only Jaxson, Connor, and I know this place. We built this together when we were kids." He said we were spraying something in the tree house.
"What is that?" I asked.
"It's a masking spray. It will mask our scent, so no one knows that we are here," he said.
There's a king-size bed in the middle of the tree house with a cabinet on the side and some children's toys. I smiled when I saw the picture of them sitting on the bed holding their toys.
