“Actually judges say that, not lawyers.” Victoria felt a growing uneasiness. She now regretted having accepted his invitation. “Uh, I’m not sure this is such a good idea. There’s something I haven’t told you. I have a boyfriend.”
“Yeah?” he said nonchalantly. “Where does he live?”
“With me. I mean I live with him.... I moved in with him.”
