Dockhands directed them to park in a cavernous prep bay, where they emptied the cars’s gasoline tanks and disconnected their batteries. A tow-truck maneuvered the two beauties into the open mouth of a steel shipping container and the workers clambered in behind to pack protective padding around and between them.
