I walked back to my room, feeling slightly feverish from the bloody, gory scene I had just witnessed. I could still feel the cold pressure of the gun, his shivering breath against my skin as Devion forced me to put it on his head. I could see his hair rise against his skin. I sighed, my chest loosening a bit from the release of air. I was yet to be even sure I was completely cancer-free and yet my life had already turned into something I couldn't recognize, something I wasn't even sure I'd survive.
