Redna's POV The darkness soon begins to fade, and a shimmer of light has me blinking twice as a sharp pain tears through my iris with intensity. There is a white curtain billowing in the wind at a corner, and I find myself in a very comfortable spot, more comfortable than anything I'd known. For the past two decades, my life has managed to last; I've only experienced a warm, soft bed with my eyes in the movies. When my consciousness has fully returned.
