Chapter Nineteen“Woof.” What was that? Did Phoebe just let out a little woof? Maybe it was just part of my dream. That better not have been the dog yipping to be let out. The lack of any signs of light behind my eyelids negate the need to look at the clock. I already know it’s wicked early. “WOOF!” The second, louder woof confirms it.
