For the next few days, I wasn’t allowed to leave my room under the strict orders of Lux. He wanted me to recover properly, and going to combat training could risk tearing my wounds back open again. Healer Hayes still came to my room during that time and treated me for my chronic poisoning, but aside from him, I saw no one else, not even Lux.
