Chapter 5 Not many choices.

　　Leilani.

　　"Don't you dare move from there! "

　　My legs froze at zilch, at nothing to the undertone of the alpha's command - l squeezed my eyes shut trying to get him out of my head, standing firmly and not settling on my knees as my body went limp and stayed in position.

　　"Don't play hard to get, I'm not giving you a choice Omega, end your little drama because l don't have enough time and patience to spare." He bristled, his voice seething with extreme coldness.

　　How does he even want to mate with me with this behavior of his? I know… I know l wanted to mate with the head alpha because l thought things would be different if l met him, he might fall in love with me at first sight and he wouldn't think twice to chose me - no matter how low my rank is, l had big dreams but l just didn't think it would turn out this way.

　　Why am l so unlucky? How will l survive this attitude of his if I'm to accept his proposal? If he really finds me disgusting like his words then why is he asking me to do this? Out of all the fishes made edible to him yet he is asking us to share a bond.

　　I turned on my heels to meet his piercing eyes, to make myself clear once and for all that I'm not mating with a jerk like him when he suddenly got on his feet and took a stroll toward me, I tore my eyes away, looking else as he drew closer - emitting a deadly irresistible aura, whole enough to make me slobber in ecstasy.

　　"What do you have to say now?" He mocked, bending forward to me and blowing a f*****g breeze to my face, chuckling menacingly for no reason, l held my fist beside me, standing firm with no actual words to let out. "You are wasting my time Leilani," He dropped his shoulder, staring into my oblivious soul.

　　As if my legs had a mind of their own, l took a few steps, ignoring him for his complicity, and picked up the contract to hurry my way out quietly when he held my wrist, spinning me almost in the air, pushing me to hit my back hard against the stiff wall - his face coming closer to me than earlier, his nose almost grating against mine.

　　"Give me an answer before you dare walk out on me, I'm warning you for the last time, Leilani, don't make me repeat myself," He trails off, tilting his head away from my face, l could tell his dragon eyes were on the nape of my neck, my scent gland and love spot. My breath hitched nervously, what if he marks me right now leaving me no choice?

　　"Give me some time to consider it," I managed to let out, my voice as low and calm as it could possibly be, not directly going against an alpha.

　　"Fine, the next 24 hours and your time start now," He muttered, licking off my neck in one sweep as if scenting me to reek of him for the rest of my night, his tongue feels too heavenly that it itches me to let him continue with no zeal to stop him, "Get ready as well, you are attending my company dinner with me tomorrow," He added, his words dribbling in between licking my neck continuously now, my legs melted - leaning against the wall with my hands hanging mid-air by themselves, almost losing control to the tickling sensation and the overwhelming alluring feeling devouring me into a jelly mess.

　　I bite my lips to hide my growing moans, "You know what that means, you are going to officially meet the pack elders, the shareholders, I can't keep count of those attending and of course, you already met my mother the Luna, and my younger sister, get ready to meet my father, my grandmother, and the family thread - if they all like you, the easier for the both of us to get what we both want, so there is no chance for you to say no to me, do you understand me?"

　　"Hm?" l hummed mindlessly, tilting my head to give him more access to my neck, l brought my hands to grip his shoulders, squeezing them, indulging in his tiny kisses and warm licks.

　　This is dangerous!

　　I need to stop this, l can't enjoy this too much! Before l could utter a word he stepped away from me, glaring at me dreamily, his grey-colored eyes dark behind his stray hairs, he wiped his bottom lip with his thumb - grazing them repeatedly, l wasted no second to catch a breath as l stormed out of the office and slamming the door behind me. l hurried on my steps, gripping my chest area to control my shortness of breath, like there was a stumbling block reducing my lung capacity.

　　He is just.. Just evil, he is clearly taking advantage of me, he is imposing his dominance on me and I'm so helpless about it, he is doing this on purpose - to have control over me… He is so mean and selfish.

　　Do l really have to accept him? He is leaving me no choice after all like l have nothing to lose, which hurt too much because it's true, l don't deserve someone like him, from the beginning l never stood a chance but he picked me even after what conspired between us.

　　Am I really not allowed to carry his pups?

　　That means he is meant to throw me out at any given time and l will be left to start from the beginning again, to feel the intense night loneliness that would haunt me, the loneliness of not having anyone to call your own.

　　I'm going to be putting my sanity at stake if l accept this trap but then, the figures are tempting and it is not to be overlooked, the status and affluent, the society, the VVIPs tags, and labels, and spending of night, days, and weeks with him under the same roof, sleeping in the same bed with him and cuddling as mates would do. I will get to see his manly charms and his bewitching attractiveness every day.

　　I threw the papers to the floor, jumping on my bed groggily, tugging my face in between my pillows, and groaning silently in absolute confusion.

　　I spread my body all over the bed lazily, occasionally throwing a glance at the paper on the floor considering how my heart melts at everything Alpha Cedrick does, his ways… I mindlessly rub my itchy neck allowing the feeling to dwindle into the atmosphere, urging me to miss his presence already like I'm supposed or meant to stay by his side and share all of his emotions.

　　I crawled dramatically to the ground, giving a final look to the papers as l bite my index finger, imprinting it on my gap… I don't care if the family likes me at this point but l want to be with Alpha Cedrick, even if it's for a short while.
