Victoria's eyes flashed with anger. “Are you dumb?” She hissed. “It's Isabel we're talking about here, William,” she spat, her voice low and deadly, “Isabel.”
William's eyes dropped, and he apologized while cleaning the beads of sweat on his forehead.
Her face turned icy. “You better pray to whatever you believe in that New Ancient doesn't win over Lux Fashion, William,” she said, “If they do, I'll make sure you pay dearly for your carelessness.”
Williams' eyes widened in fear. Knowing Victoria and working with her for years, he knew she'd keep to her words. He swallowed her and nodded, “I understand.”
