It had been a week, and I was standing outside the city hall watching Rosy's execution with Silas and Demetrius. Silas had tears in his eyes as they brought her forward. Her hands were bound, and she was walking in iron shackles. It wasn't a pleasant sight. They walked her out onto the balcony and removed the hood covering her head. Demetrius, Silas, and I all watched as she scanned the crowd for Demetrius. When their eyes met, they both broke out into tears. I wasn't sure if Demetrius wanted me to touch him right now, but I wrapped an arm around him anyway. Silas did the same. We both wanted to ensure that Demetrius knew we were there for him.
