Chapter 6

Isabelle Simon:-

It was 5:00 PM I went to the bathroom and took a shower then wrapped the towel around my body. I went to my walk-in closet and took out my lace bra and panties in red color then put them on. I dried my hair with the hairdryer and went to my room to put on the dress Logan gifted me earlier.

 It was an off-shoulder long emerald green color dress with a high slit. I put it on and looked at myself in the full-length mirror than gasped. The dress hugs my body like a second skin and I don't know how Logan knows my size. I applied a little amount of makeup with wine red lipstick and pulled my hair up in a messy bun.

 By the time I was ready, it was six forty-five I walked back to the living room and pour myself a drink of water. When I was drinking it there was a knock on the door. I opened it to see Logan standing over there with a corsage in his hand. He was in his three-piece suit in black color looking so hot and handsome.

" You look stunning," he said and whistled looking at me from head to toe.

" Thank you," I replied " and you look handsome," he smiled and walked towards me and took my hand in his then put on the corsage in white and green color. I look at it with a smile.

" Logan, it's beautiful," I said and kissed his cheek.

" I am glad you like it." he said " Are you ready? Should we get going?" he asks.

" Yes, I am ready," I replied.

" Oh, before we go I have decided that we won't use magic on a single thing. We will have a normal date night like everyone else," he said.

" Wow, I love the idea," I said and was about to walk out and shut the door behind when a portal opened and Faith walked out looking so worried.

" Your highness," Faith said looking at me which she only did when I am needed at the palace.

" Faith, what happened?" I ask.

" I am sorry to ruin your date night but the palace is under attack by ghouls," Faith announced.

"WHAT?" I yelled then turned to Logan " I am sorry to ruin our first date night but my duty calls. I need to go and be with my kingdom to save them."

" I understand, you can go. Don't worry we will plan any other day." he said cupping my cheek and kissed my forehead " do you want me to come with you?" he asks.

" No, you stay here. I need to look after my kingdom on my own. I am their Queen and it's my responsibility to keep them safe," I replied " I am sorry."

"Ok, just be safe." he said " but I don't understand why would ghoul attack the witches don't they feed on dead bodies?" he asks.

" That what I am also thinking." I replied " I need to go and find out myself. See you later." I said and kissed his cheek then get in the portal with Faith that took me directly to the palace.
