We walked out of the restaurant, making our way to the car. I was feeling grateful for the lovely breakfast with Elle, and Annie was still chattering excitedly about the burger. Honestly, I felt more relieved and clear-minded now. I now know where to start and what not to do. All thanks to little Annie for being too quick to alert Elle that I needed her. "Mommy, can we go to the shops now?" Annie asked, bouncing up and down in her seat as I tried to buckle her in. Again, where do toddlers get this load of energy from?
