Our walk to my bedroom was quiet as we both seemed to be processing everything that had happened. Occasionally, I would side-eye Tavin as he pensively stared down my hall. I wanted to talk to him about things, to hear his thoughts and perspectives; to find out how his mind worked. The question burned in my head as I tried to keep my composure. This was such an odd feeling. It was as if I couldn’t be close enough to him. I needed to know him inside and out. Was this what love was like? Did he think the same thing?
