Aurora's POV: I stared at the mask Blaze handed me, confusion flickering in my mind. "What is this?" I asked. He didn't say a word, just gazed at me in silence. Without a word, I took the mask and slipped it over my face. It covered half of my features, leaving only my lips exposed. The reflection staring back at me was a stranger, someone I could hardly recognize. Suddenly, Blaze's fingers gripped my chin. He kissed me with a fierce intensity, pressing me against the icy surface of the dressing room mirror. The cold mirror sent shivers racing down my spine, while his touch set my skin ablaze. I was frozen in place, terrified the costly dress might rip. I felt as stiff and lifeless as a wooden doll. It wasn't until the maid's voice called from outside that Blaze finally let me go.
