LIES AND REGRETS

Sarah then hung up the phone in disbelief of what she just heard, stood there is silent with her hands shaking.

John asked: "Is everything okay? What happened?"

Sarah replied: "Nothing, um, just personal matters, nothing to worry about."

Since it was already late they both went back to sleep, even though sarah couldn't sleep she spent the whole day thinking about what could her husband be up to, her mind was full of questions she couldn't answers, she was restless.

Finally it was the next day and the last day of the trip, john woke up early ready to close up the deal so that he can go home, but for sarah it was different story, she woke up with sore eyes and still confused.

Smith and his love woke up early and started packing too. They were in a hurry to go so that smith can get home quickly because they had no idea what time the wife was going to arrive,so then wanted to make sure that she doesn't suspect anything.

Belinda : "you will find me outside "

Smith : " okay I'm coming babe"

Smith was busy on his cellphone texting sarah, asking her what time is she coming home and deleting the pictures she took with belinda, making sure that everything is all set and clean before he gets home.

Sahar: "wait for me am almost done"

John: "okay make it quick we are late"

In few minutes sarah was done, when she stepped out of the door she couldn't believe what she saw. smith and belinda were standing at the door kissing, their hand allover each other.

Belinda: " babe we should do this again, i really enjoyed"

While sarah was standing right there looking at them in disbelief of what she just saw

Sarah shouted "smith!!!!"

They both looked back, smith with his eyes wide open in shock.

Smith: "Honey, it's not what you think. I can explain." (in a soft tone)

John was still inside the room taking a phone call, but then cut the call when he heard sarah shouting outside.

The moment john stepped outside he had no idea what was going on. Sarah's face was filled with tears.

Smith's tone changed from soft to harsh the moment he saw john

Smith : "Ohh so this is the business trip u came here to do? Whose this guy?, ohh wait so u have been screwing me all these years telling me you are going on business trips while u know very well this is the shitt you've been doing?

Belinda:" babe calm down "

Sarha nodded, wiped her face and told john to close the door so that they can go before getting late,they left.

Smith and belinda were still standing at the door, smith then took his car keys without saying a word to belinda, he left her there, then drove back home alone.

On their way to the meeting john asked sarah to stay back inside the car.

John: "There's no need to force yourself to go in there. I can handle this alone. Just stay here and process things, okay? I can see how stressed you are. I don't want this to affect this meeting. Remember, it's the last one; everything has to be perfect. I got this."

Sarha then agreed to stay back. John went it and nailed the presentation, went back and told sarah how smooth the presentation went. They then drove off heading back home with smiles of the joy since they got all the 3 deals.

After a few hours of driving, John asked Sarah about what happened back at the hotel. Sarah then explained everything, including how her husband had been treating her ever since they got married. She had only enjoyed their relationship when they were still dating, but after they moved in together, got married, and had kids, things were no longer the same.
