LAST STRAW

When Sarah returned from work, she went outside and sat at the doorstep, thinking deeply about the whole situation..

After a while, she then went back inside the house, sat down with Smith, and made the final decision to end the marriage. She asked Smith for a divorce.

It was the hardest decision she had to make, but then she was also tired of all the drama and endless heartbreaks.

Smith couldn't take it, he begged her to stay, tried convincing her that the pregnancy was fake or a trap. But all his explanation were in vain. Sarah had already made up her mind and sticked to her word.

She then called her lawyer right in front of him and asked him to draw up the divorce documents as soon as possible; that's when Smith saw that it was over for him.

Smith sneaked out to the garage to make a phone call. He called Belinda and asked if what she said was true. He then said, "I want proof, let's set up a doctor's appointment."

Belinda never hesitated she agreed.

After some few days of silence between smith and his wife. Finally the lawyer arrived with the documents for the both of them to sign.

Smith insisted that he want to talk to his parents first, although sarah had already informed them.

And they were supporting her, they supported her decision.

Sarah : "stop trying to delay this whole process lets just get it over and done with"

With teary eyes and heavy heart, smith finally signed the papers.

The marriage was over.

Smith moved out,to rent out a place, leaving sarah and the kids at house.

Smith and belinda went to confirm the pregnancy with was confirmed existing.

Smith had no choice but to settle with belinda, which then he later engaged her. He loved belinda but not as much as he loved sarah.

Smith then found a new job at a construction company. It was well paying. After some months of working, Belinda convinced him to buy a house. And wanted the house to be registered in her name as he did with her ex-wife ( sarah).

Smith continued helping Sarah with the kids and paying some of the bills, even though Belinda never knew about the financial support part. The kids spent most of the time at their grandparents' house, since Sarah needed space to deal with her situation.

Sarah Continued living a peaceful life with her kids and also going out with laura more often. She felt free and happy. But still wasn't ready to start a new relationship. Even though laura was always telling her to start afresh and move, she felf like it was still to early.

Few months later, Belinda gave birth to a set of twins (boys). She was overwhelmed since she was a first-time mom, even though Smith was there helping out since he had more experience with raising twins.

2 Years later, Sarah was promoted at work. She renovated the house and bought a new car for Smith's parents since they struggled a lot with the old car. Susan was more like a mother to Sarah; she cared for and loved her like her own daughter.

While on the other side, things were still flowing nicely between the newlyweds (Smith and Belinda). They had built a beautiful, peaceful home together.

Until one knight when smith and sarah met at a club.

Smith was going out to celebrate with his friends since he bought a new car and started his own construction company.

Sarah was out as usual having a girl's night out with laura when smith approached them.

"Hey ladies, how's your night going? Hope you are having fun."

Laura : " hi ex-husband..."

(Laura and Sarah laughed)

Sarah: "What are you doing here? I heard you are now your own boss. Congratulations!""

Smith: "Thank you, I'm here celebrating my achievements so far."

They all smiled, and Smith ordered more drinks. "The bill is on me!"

They danced all night , drinking keept on coming, they were all drunk

Sarah went to to the bathroom and smith grabbed her hand and followed her.

Sarah : "why are you following me? (she asked him while smiling)

Smith :" i just want to make sure that you are safe"

They both went inside the bathroom.
