Mason’s POV
Looking at Gillian laying on that bed made me wonder what I could do to make sure that she never has to encounter being treated like that by her father. But she couldn’t tell me exactly what happened when she was with her father.
I had a board meeting later tonight, and I had to attend; I left the hospital to answer a call from my assistant, who told me that the Board meeting had started earlier than we had planned.
“Hello Sir, you need to get here… the meeting started about 10 minutes ago” She said through the phone and I wondered what to do, I wanted to go back and tell Gillian that I had to leave but opted not too but call her.
