My doorbell rang and I jumped because I was unaccustomed to the sound. Colin and the officer were at the door and I invited them inside. I handed them both a cup of espresso. "Thank you so much, officer, for coming. I am grateful to you."  He nodded and said, "How well do you know Victoria Grant?"  I answered, "I have only met her twice before today in my life. Our interactions were brief." The officer asked me to tell him exactly what happened and I relayed the encounter to him. He took notes and drank the coffee. He looked at us both with concern.
