Emily's POV
You're getting there.
I don't have the faintest idea whether I should be glad that I am on my way to convincing him that I just want to be his friend, or whether I should be taken back by the fact that he will still be acting cold and giving me hell until I get to him. Well that's if I even get to him, maybe he'll kill me before then with his attitude.
"Now will you take me dancing?" Noelle inclines herself to Jake.
He lifts his eyes as he answers her, "I don't want to."
"Then why did you take Em and not me?"
She really likes challenges, and I know that she will not let Jake slip out of her fingertips without getting to him.
"You are so so fu*king annoying, but I'm sure you know that, right?" He groaned, shooting daggers at her with his eyes.
