Chole's POV
I opened my eyes and closed it at once. I tried to adjust my eyes to the brightness of the room. I pried my eyes open. My eyes met with the sleeping figure beside me.
I blushed. His face was so close to me that I could feel his hot breath against my skin. His breathing was stable as it should be. A smile lit up my face while I watched him.
His lips moved, then his eyes fluttered open. I almost flipped out of bed, trying to get away from him. He shouldn't have seen that I had been staring at him.
Unfortunately, Colton's arms kept me from leaving his grasp.
"You are awake" I squeak. Colton's brows furrowed before a smile formed on his lips.
"Yeah… seems like you want to get out of my arms as soon as I wake up" he drawled.
