Chloe's POV
I smiled for the umpteenth time. Charlotte just kept saying sweet things about me and Colton and I still wondered how she knew all the things she said.
"I will see you then" she said with a vibrant smile, before crossing the road. I looked around, how had we trekked this far?.
We are so far away from the party. I looked at Charlotte again and she happened to look at me too then she waved at me. I did the same.
My eyes widened as a car flashed its bright light on the road, but I didn't hear the sound of any car. It was so close to her, heading towards her direction and very fast at the same time.
"Charlotte!!!" I screamed, she turned to see the car, her eyes as wide as saucers but it was too late, it was closer than I thought.
