"I'm not worried," I said as he glanced at me.
"I mean she's meant to be eating with us but she's not" I added.
"She went to represent me in a meeting" he said and I nodded before delving into a sea of endless thoughts. She represented him in meetings. I don't want to be a pain in the ass but this statement struck me in some sort of way.
"You trust her a lot, I guess" I said, my voice gave me off as it sounded forlorn.
"Yes… is something wrong?" He asked and I beamed.
"Nope, nothing" I replied but he didn't seem satisfied with the answer, he had a strange look in his eyes maybe filled with questions but he still decided not to probe and I was glad he did.
