A deal

Tae Ming walked into Eva's room and saw that she was touching her lips gently and didn't even noticed when she came in.

"Hey" Tae Ming said as she walked straight to Eva.

Eva who was lying on the bed jumped out of shock. She didn't even know when Tae Ming entered the room.

"Oh hi" Eva replied

"So, I see that you are pretty close to my brother" Tae Ming started a conversation.

"I won't really say close" Eva said

Tae Ming smirked and said

"Really?"

"Yes" Eva answered with suspicion lingering in her eyes

"Or is there something that you aren't telling me?" Eva continued

"Ohh Lee didn't tell you?!" Tae Ming asked

"Tell me what?" Eva asked as her suspicions rose greatly

"Hmm...maybe since he didn't tell you, I'm not supposed to tell you"  Tae Ming said

"No no no. You can tell me" Eva said as curiosity ate her from inside out

"Sorry. Maybe you should ask Lee yourself" Tae Ming said

"So, what do you do?" She continued

"I don't have a job. That's why I came to City F, to have one" Eva replied with a dull smile.

Tae Ming noticed her change in mood when Eva spoke and asked

"What's wrong"

Eva sighed before answering

"It's just that, my father only has a few days left to live. He has been sick and the sickness has no cure. He's going to die sooner or later"

Tae Ming's eyes searched Eva's and they stared at each other for a moment.

Eva knew Tae Ming's eye color was quite unfathomable earlier but now they locked eyes, she clearly saw that the young lady's eyes switched color gently as she talked and moved her head.

Now it's blue, the next minute it's dark purple. Her eyes were like a color switch if there's anything like that.

Eva never thought a person's eyes could be like this. And she couldn't help blurting out

"I love your eyes"

Tae Ming noticed the girl has been staring into her soul for the pass two minutes.

"Ohhh thank you. It's a gift. Was born that way" Tae Ming answered.

"It's nice" Eva said

"Yh. Thanks. Now back to your father. Where is he?" Tae Ming asked concerned

"In city A" Eva responded

"I think I can help" Tae Ming said smiling

"How? Doctor's had already told my dad that's there's no cure and he just has to wait for death" Eva said

"Well, you haven't met my doctor yet. He's the best and he can certainly cure your father" Tae Ming said smiling

"Really?" Eva asked

"Really!!" Tae Ming said and Eva jumped on her and hugged her so tight.

Eva pulled away and looked at Tae Ming in the eyes. Now the woman's eyes were pinkish in color. Eva decided to ignore it and said

"Thank you. But we need to get back to City A"

"Nahh. I'll just send my doctor there to your family. I'll just need your address" Tae Ming said and in a few seconds Eva thought for a while before typing her address into Tae Ming's phone.

"I'll call you when my doctor gets there" she said to Eva

"I don't have a phone" Eva said as  she blushed in embarrassment

"No need to be shy about it. I'll get you one" Tae Ming said

"Why are you being so kind to me?" Eva asked

"Because you are my brother's woman now. So you are kinda my sister" Tae Ming said as have gave Eva light hug before leaving the room.

Eva smiled in satisfaction. Tae Ming was sweet and free while her brother was just the opposite. Strong headed and cold.

That man didn't even know what to do when she was choking.

Eva's mind suddenly went to what Tae Ming said. Is there something that Lee Ming was not telling her that made Tae Ming think they were close?.

Well, if Tae Ming didn't tell her. She would ask the man herself.

Two nights ago, in the Ming's Villa.

Lee Ming walked into his family house and saw his father sitting down in the living room in all his glory.

"I'm here now" Lee Ming said coldly.

"Park!" Lee Ming's father looked like he was calling out to someone.

Soon, a man came rushing in. This man was obviously old. He had white hair on his head and even his eye lashes were white. Park Seo-min has been leaving with the Ming family for years, after Sir Ming had saved his life when he was eighteen. Park Seo-min swore to be by Sir Ming and his family for life. Now, he was old and had white hair all over.

"Sir Ming!" He said standing in front of Lee Ming's father.

"Please get the chefs to cook something nice for Master Ming".  Sir Ming said

"Don't worry Park. I won't be here for long." Lee Ming said to the old man.

Park Seo-min was confused as to who to obey. He turned to Sir Ming and the old man just winked at him to forget his order earlier and Park Seo-min nodded and left to a corner where he can be called anytime.

"So, I heard about what you did" Sir Ming said smiling

Lee Ming knew why his father was smiling and he meant.

"So?" Lee Ming said

"So? Are you really saying so?. Lee, you donated your blood to her. And it's a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing because it shows you obviously care about her and it proves it I was right about her all long. But unfortunately, it's a bad thing because your other side might rub off on her since you gave your blood to her. If she starts showing changes in behavior, just know it's your fault." Sir Ming said

"If anything changes about her, I'll handle it" Lee Ming said turning his back, about to leave

"It's your choice then. But don't you forget that your other side is dominant. Just because you can control it doesn't mean she can control hers when it comes" Sir Ming said

"And also, find a way to make her yours before I change my mind on giving you the position of the CEO in ESCORP. It's a deal now, make her yours and the position of the CEO goes to you" he continued

Lee Ming stood in place and thought for a while before walking out of the Ming's Villa.

Lee Ming got back to the Ming's residence and straight to his house. He ignored all the servants greeting and went straight to his room.

Walking into the shower, he decided to go see the little miss ladybug in the hospital.

After a long bath, he wore casual clothes and looked at the time. It was 12:06am.

And walked out of his house and entered his car and drove off. Hwang Lu was surprised as he stood at the door looking at the disappearing car. He suspected something. Lee Ming left the house without saying a word and also didn't ask his driver to drive him but he drove himself.

This only happens when he's not in a good mood. Hwang Lu sighed and entered into the house.

The night before she was discharged,

Lee Ming walked into the hospital and into Eva's room. She was fast asleep, probably dreaming by now.

He walked closer to her bed and wanted to touch her hair but his father's words rang in his ear

"Your other side is dominant. Just because you can control it, doesn't mean she can control hers"...

With that in his head, he retracted his hands and spoke in a low voice.

"I have to make you mine now" he said remembering his father's words once again and he scoffed and smiled

"I guess I'll have to tell you, you are my girlfriend from now on".

"But please don't have this other side that I have. Just continue to be pure like you are" he said as he had the urge to caress her smooth pearly white face.

The sleeping beauty moved her fingers and Lee Ming was afraid of waking her up so he decided to sit at a distance and watch her sleep.

But before he could turn around and walk to the chair in the room, she grabbed his hand, still asleep.

"Don't worry. Even if you have a dark side, I don't mind having it too. We can control that side together. With each other's help" she said in a low and sleepy voice and there were even low snores in between..

Lee Ming was shocked and thought that the girl might have awoken but she was still sound asleep while she said those words. And her grip on his hand was tight.. Maybe making this girl his wasn't a bad idea.

He wanted to remove her hand from his but she didn't let him go. He felt a surge of warmth  in his heart and he felt like she had held him this exact way before  but he shrugged the feeling and stood there all night watching her, with his hand still held by hers.

The sun was rising and he needed to go. He realized that her grip on him was loosened and he removed her hand from his and walked out of her room and the hospital.

Outside the hospital, Lee Ming stared at the hand she held. He was a monster and she was like an angel from heaven. Those two can't mix..  he thought.

He drove out of the hospital, on the road, he suddenly felt the urge to he held by her again. And he couldn't concentrate, he stopped in the middle of the road and took out a hand sanitizer and used it on his hand she held.

Finally having peace, he continued driving.....
