Don't come close

Eva walked out of her room after Tae Ming had left and called out to Yu Shao. The woman didn't answer due to the fact that she  was in the servants quarters. Eva sighed when she got no reply. She walked around the huge house trying to find Lee Ming's room on her own. After walking for a while, she found a double door in a quiet and secluded part of the house. Though, the place was still beautiful and extravagant as every other part of the house was. She thought for a while before knocking on the door. And the next thing she heard was the bone-chilling cold voice of Lee Ming.

"Go away."

Eva squinted her eyes momentarily and opened the door anyways. Though she felt the danger signs coming from his voice, she didn't want to back down. She wanted answers from this man. Why did his sister say they were close?

Entering the room, Eva paused as her eyes were glued to the scratched walls. It looked like a thousand cats clawed on the walls, even the curtains. The whole room was soaked in a dark aura. Finally, Eva's eyes caught Lee Ming who was sitting on the edge of his bed with his back facing her. His grip on the sheet were so tight that his fingers were pale. Though scared, Eva walked slowly towards him.

"I told you to go away" He said with his voice sounding more like a warning.

"I want to talk to you" Eva said getting closer and closer slowly.

Her sweet scent entered his nostrils and he squeezed the sheets even more.

"Don't come close" He said again as if holding the last rope of self control he had.

But it was too late since the little woman had already climbed on his bed and was hugging him from behind. Lee Ming's grip on the sheets loosened for a moment.

"I'm going to hold you like this until you answer my questions that I have for you" Eva said as the dare devil in her was released.

In a millisecond, Lee Ming peeled her hands off him and turned around and pushed her on the bed. Still trembling with fear, Eva was unwilling to get threatened by him. He pinned her two hands to the bed, hovering over her and said "You don't know what you are doing. If I were you, I would run away this minute."

With that, Eva didn't bulge though her heart was racing.

Seeing the little woman's unwillingness, he pressed his lip hard on hers. Sucking and biting as if punishing her until he felt the metallic taste of blood in his mouth. He pulled away and saw Eva's lip bleeding.

The murderous intent in his eyes reduced and he let go of her hands. Eva quickly sat up and cleaned the blood on her lip with her cloth before saying "Now will you answer my question?"

Lee Ming stared at her like she had lost her mind. Not wanting to hear her voice, he straightened up and walked into the bathroom.

Few minutes ago, after Tae Ming had talked with Eva, Lee Ming was beyond restless in his room. The kiss he had with that creature was hunting him. He suddenly wanted more, more of her lips. But this was all desires of the flesh right? He didn't feel anything for her in his heart. His body just tasted a woman for the first time and suddenly wanted more. Its understandable.

But the t*****e was too much. The tightening in his lower belly was overwhelming. The next moment, Hwang Lu barged into his room with a plum woman. She was beautiful.

"Wait outside" Lee Ming said to Hwang Lu.

The woman was obviously shook by the looks of the room. Did crazy cats share this room with him? There were claw marks everywhere.

Hwang Lu walked out and Lee Ming approached the woman. But before he could get three feet close to her, an invisible force pushed him back and the feeling of pain enveloped him.

He hit the wall with full force as the invisible force pushed him right back. The  woman who was scared just stood there rooted to the ground, watching him groaning in pain. In occasions like this, it was either him or the woman that gets pushed my the force.

"Leave!" Lee Ming said to the woman and she dashed out of the room.

Lee Ming wanted to distract himself from thinking about Eva so he asked Hwang Lu to bring him a woman who doesn't know him. A beautiful woman. Though the lady was beautiful, he got angry because he didn't feel anything when he saw her. So he tried moving close but his problem didn't allow him. It  seemed that what his sister said was true. That little woman might be the one. But he chose not to believe, he will continue to try other women.

The next minute, Hwang Lu came with another woman. Though the first Lady was much prettier, this one was plum in the right places and had a cute charm to her.

Once again, he tried getting close but was pushed even harder by the invisible force. He ordered the lady to leave as he was lying on the floor in agony.

Soon, he sat on his bed squeezing the sheets. Though the pain had stopped, he was angry. He tried subsiding the urge in him that he had for that little woman with other women but it seemed the urge got even stronger.

Hearing a knock on the door, he calmed down a little but was still squeezing the sheets.

"Go away" he said. He wasn't in the mood to speak to anyone. But seconds later, he found out that it was the little woman.

Back to present

Eva sat on the bed waiting for this man to come out of the bathroom but he was taking too much time.

Eva stood up and started walking around the room. She went straight to the walls and stared at the scratch marks on them. Some looked old and some looked fresh. Like it was done earlier today.

She touched the marks on the wall and she suddenly felt a strange feeling come over her. She felt extremely uneasy but tried to calm down. She turned back to the bed just to find out that the part of the sheets Lee Ming was holding tightly had torn. But not in a normal way. It looked like something that was done by claws. The torn part of the bed had the same look as it was on the walls.

Eva had a thought and looked around the room. She found Lee Ming's phone on the bed side table. Taking it, she tried opening it and it did open because it had no lock. She went to his contacts and scrolled until she found Yu Shao's number. She dialed the number and waited for an answer. Soon, the woman's voice was heard on the other side of the phone.

"Mister Ming?"

"Yu Shao, its me, Eva. Please Lee Ming needs a new set of sheets. Can you get one and bring it right away? please...." Eva begged

Though being suspicious, Yu Shao said "Of course Miss Watson". After all, Lee Ming had told everyone in the house that she has the same power as him now and they should obey her. So who was she to refuse?

Eva ended the call and waited. While waiting, she removed the torn sheets. Soon, she heard the knock on the door and rushed to open it.

" Here you go Miss" Yu Shao said smiling as she handed the newly washed sheets to Eva and Eva gave her the  torn one.

"Thank you" Eva said as she closed the door with her leg.

She stared at the closed bathroom door for a while before quickly placing the new sheets.

"You look like a house wife now Eva" the voice in her head said coming out of no where.

Eva only rolled her eyes. Not ready to have a chat with the verbose voice in her head.

It was already getting dark and Lee Ming was still in the bathroom. Eva was even surprised at her own behaviour. On a normal day, she would have gone by now but this time, her heart didn't let her. So she waited. Sitting on the couch.

Finally, the handsome man came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and his hair damp and glistening. His fresh skin looked so delicate but his fingers looked slightly wrinkled because of being in the shower for too long.

His blue eyes stared at her for a long time before he walked straight to her. "Aren't you even scared?"  He said in a husky voice. The other women that entered his room looked petrified but Eva was relaxed for some reason.

"Why would I be scared?" She asked staring at him straight in the eyes.

Lee Ming smirked and wanted to touch her hair but pulled his hand back.

"You seem to like monsters. Don't you?".

Eva squinted her eyes and thought that the man was trying to scare her again. " No. I don't "

"Then why aren't you scared of them?" He asked. This man was confusing her a whole lot.

"I just feel that they are not scary enough" She said...he stared at her for a while. He felt something had changed about this girl.

"It's because you haven't seen all the sides of that monster yet. Then you'll know if they really aren't scary enough" he said and Eva's eyes went straight to the marks on the wall and the torn sheet. She felt like this man was hiding a lot of things. She shook her head slightly and threw that thought away. Even though he was hiding some things, it was none of her business. Only the things that had to do with her that she should be concerned about.

Eva was silent for a while then stood up, facing him "I cant be scared of something that I know won't hurt me" she said staring straight in his eyes. The two locked eyes for a long time and an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia filled the both of them.

Had she said this exact thing to him before? No, it wasn't possible. This was the first time and she didn't even know why and how she got so bold and was saying all these things.

Lee Ming couldn't take it anymore. He had been pressing down the urge to hold her. He swept her in his arms and she subconsciously held his neck. He took her to the bed and lay her down, hovering over her. "You changed the sheets" he said as his eyes looked at new sheets then back to her.

Realizing what the man might be thinking, she hurriedly said " I only changed it because it was torn not for any other reason " she said turning crimson.

Lee Ming smiled at her. For the first time, she felt this smile was genuine. He ran his hands from her eyebrows down to her chin. Eva wanted to run away now, he will answer he questions later. If she doesn't ran away, he might kiss her again. Eva felt they can't be kissing when they have no feelings for each other.

She attempted standing up from the bed but he pushed her down lightly

"Did you forget that you are mine now and that you have to satisfy my requests" he said as he used his thumb to touch her lips.

Eva's breathing hitched and she closed her eyes and prepared herself for what was going to come. But nothing happened. Instead, she felt him get off her. She thought this guy was going to take her just now. But it seemed he only teased her.

Looking at the direction he was going to, she remembered he was still in his towel and looked away. This guy... .

"You really want to see me dress Eva?" He asked in a teasing tone

Eva's ears turned red as she stood up from the bed and walked towards the door.

"Did you forget that you don't know your way back?" He said

"Don't worry. I'll figure it out" she said before running out of the room. Though she came here on her own, it was an accident that she found his room. His house was huge but she'll surely try and find her way back to her room.
