There they were confronted by a stern looking, middle aged woman, flanked by two teenage girls holding torches. She introduced herself, "Welcome; I am Lady Hyde, hostess for the Lion. The boys will sleep in the left barracks and the girls will sleep in the right barracks. If you have any problems, you will bring it to the attention of the yeoman on guard."
