Later in the evening in her room in the palace, which she shared with Red, Grace opened the letter: Dear Grace: I hope you are doing well and school work is not too difficult. The Willow is a terror. It isn't that the work is so hard and that it never stops, she got hold of some old text books and is teaching me literature and algebra. The algebra is killing me. I don't see how you do it. I would rather be in the coal mine than do algebra. The literature is easier. It is all reading and writing and she makes me do a lot of writing. It isn't that bad but she grades everything.
