The pages awoke at four o'clock in the morning when the Raven slammed the door to his room. They quickly dressed in their exercise outfits and piled out into the bailey where the Wolverine waited with the girls and the rest of the knights and ladies.
The Wolverine relentlessly conducted the exercises, as bitter cold chilled their fingers. With their self defense exercises over the pages returned to their barracks to dress and pack for the trip.
