The train returning the students and knights from summer camp arrived in town, while Wolf along with the rest of the knights, squires and pages already present at the school, waited at the depot to greet it. After unloading the train, all formed up for the parade. The parade through town seemed larger than last year's. Sally caused quite a sensation riding Quicksilver behind the Lion. She flew the Lion's banner on the end of a lance; a position of great honor usually reserved for a squire.
Sally convinced her parents to allow her to delay her vacation just for this occasion, and the Windsor's stayed in one of the guest rooms of the palace. Sally impressed them with Quicksilver and with her knowledge of horses. She also showed them her classrooms and introduced some of her regular teachers
