Prologue

In a prosperous kingdom called Ashley Kingdom, twins were born who would later become a crown prince named Arzoo Alaric de Ashley and a princess named Arzee Orla de Ashley. The father of the two children is the Third Prince of the Ashley Kingdom named Arlette Ryan de Ashley. Due to a tragedy the peaceful Ashley Kingdom changed when King Eyvind who was back then in charge, fell ill after being injured several years ago while seizing the power of the Kingdom of Arabella. Since King Eyvind's illness, there has been a power struggle between Crown Prince Ariel Alaric de Ashley and Second Prince Arden Amir de Ashley who is the son of a concubine.

Prince Arlette who married the first daughter of Duke Of Chase, Princess Mira lived and settled in the Chase Dukedom. When he heard the news about the power struggle, Prince Arlette quickly returned to the Ashley Kingdom to help his brother, Crown Prince Ariel, but after arriving at the palace what Prince Arlette found was his brother's corpse on display at the palace gate. Enraged by the actions of the Second Prince Arden, bravely Prince Arlette along with his brother-in-law who represented the Duke Of Chase, Andrew de Chase and the Duke Of Ronan, Harry de Ronan managed to take over the palace and restrain the Second Prince Arden. Ashley's royal power was returned to his father, King Eyvind until 5 months later, King Eyvind officially handed over his throne to Prince Arlette.

The newly ascended Prince Arlette received the title of King Akshant. Simultaneously with King Akshant's accession to the throne, King Akshant's wife and son officially became Queen and Crown Prince, Queen gets the title Queen Arete. In order to strengthen his position as King, King Akshant married the daughter of the Marquese Cascade, Eula Cascade who is also the granddaughter of the Duke Of Abizer, Hudson de Abizer. From Concubine Eula was born the Second Prince Aron Amir de Ashley.

In the fifth year of King Akshant's reign, the Ashley Kingdom had to lose Queen Arete after giving birth to the Third Prince, Aria Ryan de Ashley. Queen Arete who was famous for her kindness left a deep sadness not only for King Akshant and his sons and daughter but also the nobles and the people. Queen Arete's death is a mystery because according to the palace doctor that Queen Arete was in very good condition after giving birth and nothing was threatening her life but on the fourth day after giving birth Queen Arete suddenly experienced bleeding that took her life. Everyone accused Concubine Eula but there was no evidence pointing to Concubine Eula so there was nothing to do but consider Queen Arete's death as a natural death after giving birth.

After the death of Queen Arete, several nobles asked King Akshant to make Concubine Eula to be a queen but King Akshant vehemently refused so that until the end Concubine Eula never ascended the throne to become Queen.

Arzoo Alaric de Ashley is the Crown Prince of the Ashley Kingdom. At the age of 20, Crown Prince Arzoo was murdered by his half-brother who had never been seen wanting the throne and only spent his time studying medicine, the half-brother whom Arzoo treated well, the second Prince Aron Amir de Ashley. Arzoo since childhood has been trained to be a King, always trying to be a good brother to his younger siblings so that there is no enmity for the struggle for power as his father experienced but doing good to someone alone does not mean that it will eliminate the person's intention to repay the good deeds that have been done with evil in return.

The second prince Aron and Concubine Eula planned everything to take over Arzoo's position in various ways so perfect that Arzoo was completely unaware of it. Starting from the Third Prince, Aria Ryan de Ashley who was sick continuously for years until he could not carry out his normal activities and ended up dying when Prince Aria was 11 years old. The prince died because his weakened body could not endure the winter of that year. But actually, Prince Aria since he was a baby has been given a poison that makes his body slowly weaken so that it is difficult to detect if there is something wrong with Prince Aria's body.

When Arzoo was 15 years old, Arzoo got the task of hunting down the Fire Dragon which had destroyed several villages and resulted in tens of thousands of victims. At that time, it was Concubine Eula who apparently encouraged King Akshant to make Crown Prince Arzoo go along to hunt the Fire Dragon. Concubine Eula hoped that Arzoo would die or at least be seriously injured from hunting the Fire Dragon and if that didn't happen, Concubine Eula would try to kill Arzoo on the way home. In the squad that would join the Fire Dragon hunt, Concubine Eula had included spies to move on her orders at any time. But fortunately Arzoo managed to return to the Kingdom safely after 3 years of hunting the Fire Dragon. In the duel, although Arzoo managed to win, Arzoo was injured by the opponent's sword which contained poison until Arzoo was unconscious for a week. When Arzoo regained consciousness, Arzee had been forcibly taken by the envoy from Westland without being noticed by Arzoo and the other nobles. Arzoo who still hasn't recovered can't go after Arzee and only the son of the Duke of Ronan, Walter de Ronan and the adopted son of the Grandmaster Of Magic Tower, Alcina de Aspen who chases the messenger. Until one year later, Arzee who had been locked up in the palace of the Westland Kingdom was rescued by Walter de Ronan who led the troops from the Ronan Dukedom and defeated the Westland Kingdom.

On Arzoo's 20th birthday, at the birthday party as well as the day Arzoo ascended the throne as King, Aron's troops arrived. The sick King Akshant along with Arzoo and the nobles who support Arzoo fought against the coup from Aron, but Aron who had prepared everything by putting poison in the guests's food and also cooperating with the Paloma Kingdom used dark magic to weaken the people in the Palace except for Aron's troops to make Aron's path for the coup run smoothly. Until Aron managed to injure the Duke Of Arabella, Isolde de Arabella who protected Arzoo. At that time, Arzoo was stabbed right in the heart using Aron's Dark Sword until Arzoo was no longer able to stand up and could only sit watching everyone savagely killed, Arzoo saw Arzee who had been lying beside his father who was also dead. Until the end, Arzoo saw Isolde who kept trying to crawl closer to Arzoo while crying looking at Arzoo. Isolde's tears were the first and the last time Arzoo saw.

"I wish I could wipe away those tears. I wish I could clearly see Isolde's gaze that I've never seen properly so I don't know if there is someone who can look at me with such deep love and sadness, Isolde's gaze that as if I was his life", thought Arzoo looking at Isolde who kept trying to approach Arzoo.

Arzoo had tears in his eyes but his lips moved and a smile appeared on his face which made Isolde even more sad. Arzoo tried to approach Isolde but not yet his body moved closer to Isolde, Aron drew a sword in Arzoo's heart until Arzoo fell down and could only stare at Isolde who screamed so loudly. The blood flowing from Arzoo's heart filled the floor with blood.

Aron knelt down and stepped on Arzoo's blood, "Is there something you want to say, my brother?".

The smile on Aron's face was so evil but Arzoo didn't see it at all and only Isolde he saw. Aron was annoyed that Arzoo didn't answer him, Aron stood up and kicked Arzoo's stomach until Arzoo who was already half conscious felt the excruciating pain all over his body became felt again, his tears flowing. Isolde who saw it tried to crawl but Aron's face got closer to Arzoo's and his evil smile was now seen by Arzoo.

"Aah, really brother", Aron smiled slyly and stood up to Isolde and in an instant pulled Isolde's hand so that Isolde was right in front of Arzoo.

"My brother who is very extraordinary, in the last seconds of being in this world, why look at the person you hate? You want to die with him? Haha", said Aron who was last heard by Arzoo because Arzoo could no longer hear and could only stare at Isolde .

Isolde held Arzoo's hand and only the warmth of Isolde's hand was the last Arzoo felt.

Arzoo wakes up after hearing the butler call him, Arzoo sits down and the butler immediately gives a basin of water to wash his face. Arzoo washed his face and took the towel the butler had given him.

Arzoo was silent after washing his face, he was confused to see his room and the people who were now in front of him were people who should have died. As if Arzoo noticed something was wrong, he asked the butler, "What year is it?".

Butler who is a middle aged male looked surprised by Arzoo's question but remained calm and replied, "Akshay's 13th year, Your Highness".

Arzoo looked surprised and immediately stood up, He walked over to the big mirror and looked his body up and down and realized that the image in front of him was of him at the age of 15 with shoulder-length hair and no wound on his left ear due to the claws of the Fire Dragon. Arzoo touched his chest and he didn't feel the pain from the sword that pierced his heart. Arzoo looked at himself in the mirror once more and turned around, a small smile appearing on his face for a while before his face turned very cold.

"What am I doing today?", asked Arzoo who sat on a chair and took warm tea in front of him but Arzoo didn't drink it but just held it and felt its warmth.

"Today, Your Highness's activities are the same as usual but tonight there will be a banquet at the Palace to welcome Prince Louis of the Kingdom of Paloma who has come for the peace treaty", said the butler calmly.

Arzoo thought and frowned, "If today is the day Prince Louis of the Paloma Kingdom comes then today the Duke Of Abizer came and reported that the Fire Dragons had attacked and destroyed the villages in the Abizer Dukedom. Tomorrow, father will definitely ask for my opinion on the capture of the Fire Dragon. Fire Dragons are very dangerous if they are allowed to live freely and I also have to participate because this has given me a lot of support to become king in the future. Arzoo put down the tea cup and took the chopsticks to eat but Arzoo also stopped. Then he took his tea again as if to drink it and one of the maids looked restless and occasionally looked at Arzoo, Arzoo realized that and quickly threw the teacup right under the maid's feet. The two maids in front of Arzoo were shocked, especially the maid who had been looking restless.

"Your Highness!!", the two maids immediately sat down weakly because Arzoo who was always kind and gentle even towards his servants suddenly threw a tea cup right at a maid's feet.

Arzoo stood up and walked away leaving the two maids, the butler followed Arzoo until Arzoo was in his changing room. The butler quickly got clothes and other necessities for Arzoo to practice, Arzoo was silent and let Butler help him put on his clothes.

"Bring me the data of the workers in the palace, whether it's the head butler to the slaves who work in the palace", said Arzoo slowly but firmly.

All the guests immediately rose from their seats and saluted. The king just waved his hand slowly to tell everyone to sit down, the king sat on his throne. Two princes sit 2 levels lower than the King, opposite the seat of Prince Louis. The king didn't say much and greeted Prince Louis well without losing his prestige.
