"So you're doing it?" Becky asked.we were talking on FaceTime, i threw a chip in my mouth and nod

"Yup, i mean the pay is good, the school will pay, the family will also pay. I need the money anyways, need to get my own apartment"

"Ashley's being giving you a hard time?"

"Yeah... she's just being ashley, i just want to be alone and sort myself out"

"So.... this kid you've seen him? Didn't they show you his pictures or anything?"

"No..... why will they do that?" I said laughing it off

"Why? What if he has a burnt face? A leprosy patient? Ebola..... eehhh!" She gaps as my eyes grew wide.

"Corona virus!" We both screamed as i face plam myself with my less busy hand.

"I don't think he's any of that Becky" i added as she shrugs

"Just give me all the updates.... when are you starting anyways?"

"Tomorrow"

"How's everyone over there?"

"Fine, Bradford is being Bradford, just wish someone can put him where he truly belongs" she said as i burst out laughing.

We talked some more before ending the call, i told dad and mom about it and they seem pretty cool about it.

"The willows? They have only one son, sick one at that you don't know what ya getting yourself into" Ashley says angrily while we were eating dinner. I tried not to roll my eyes

She always sees something wrong in everything i do.

"And so?" Mom asked

"The last teacher is still rotting in prison for reason best known to them, no one knew what happened between him and Ace" she spat.... let's forget how she knows his name

"And what has that got to do with me? I Am not going there to do anything else but teach"

"You might have other motive who knows, you were stuck with that loser for four years"

"Stop it ashley!" Dad said

"Why? It's the truth, she always messes everything up, you should be grateful we even took you back remember? You turned your back on us, your family because of him!"

"Stop" i said softly with glassy eyes

"Ashley that's enough!" Mom snaps

"What was she thinking getting married at 18 right after college, maybe she got blinded by the fact that she's brilliant,and got promotions to finish college early. I am your elder sister but I am still here while you, barely half way through 22, she's a divorcee, what a mess Madison" she said as i glared at her

"Are you done?" I asked as she shakes her head slowly muttering how disappointed she's with me.

"Just don't mess anything up Madison, i know what am saying, am your sister believe me when i say i want what's best for you, just be careful" she adds as i stood up and walk out of the house to the harsh cold of the night.

I blankout the cheers and roars focusing on my opponent that's way bigger than me, he seems to be winning and I am losing. I haven't lost a game since i started fighting here and tonight isn't going to change that fact

He lung at me, landing a punch on my face and stomach as i stumble back falling to the ground, i could feel my heart beat going up.

No f**k no, not now not now! I cursed getting up, i fixed my mask well, could hear tom voice telling me I've got this

"Kid you can do anything you set your mind to... anything" sighing deeply i waited for my opponent to strike again and he did and this time, i dodged all of his attacks, hitting in return, in places his vein was visible soon he was on the floor and i didn't stop punching him, my heart quickened as tom dragged me away from him

"You did it son.... you did it!" He cheer but i pushed him off walking out of the fight.. i need to get out of here.. i didn't bring my drugs with me or anything.

It was getting too hard for me to breathe by the time i got outside, my fist clenching and uncleching beside me.i was far away from the underground by now resting my back on my car, i groan falling to the ground

My chest is aching with pain and i feel weak and fatigue creeping in, my breathe short , i grip my shirt tightly as tears brim my eyes. I know I shouldn't be fighting in the ring as it makes my health condition even worse. But I don't give a f**k. If I'm dying, I just want to end it quickly. I don't want to have to start waiting, starring at the calendar, marking every day for the main day to come. Let's just get on with it and end it all.. that is why I chose to fight aside the fact that I also love it.

"Are you okay?.... of course you're not, what's wrong?" I heard someone asked but i couldn't say anything

"This is a panic attack? No no no... heart attack?... okay look at me... hey look at me!" The voice says as i raised my eyes to meet with large brown ones. So intoxicating..... my eyes trails to her lips that's moving... is she saying something?

"Now steady breathe.... steady breathe, just like mine... slowly... steady... breathe" she says as i follow her words still starring at her alluring eyes. Is she my guardian Angel? Ha Ace you've gone nut.

"That's it you're doing great...." she says as her face broke into a smile and i feel my heart stopping again. How The f**k can someone be this beautiful and cute?

"What's your name?" She asked as i frown, darkness creeping in. The last thing i heard was her voice screaming for me to wake up.
