I groan rolling around my bed trying to ignore the knocks on my door, snapping my eyes open i ran my hands through my ash brown hair before lazily getting up from my bed and walking to the door.

I knew already the people behind this door, just don't want to hear another of their boring talks about my health and how i should behave, blah blah blah

Mom threw her arms round me the second i open the door with dad standing behind her.

"Oh my god Macerith what happened to you? Where were you the whole of yesterday night? I was so worried you weren't picking any of your calls......"

"Was at Nathan's.... my phone was upstairs" i lied smoothly

"Nathan? But we called him... he said he hasn't seen you" mom says while starring at dad as i sighed

"That was because i told him i wanted to be alone" i says nonchalantly walking back to my bed and sat

Mom and dad both shared a look that says they were hiding something.

"What is it?" I asked tiredly

"Baby....." mom starts walking towards me as she sat close to me.

"You know we want what's best for you right? You know since we discovered that you have cardiomyopathy you stop schooling....."

"So?..... i should go back to school?"

"No son you're not going back" dad spoke for the first time since they came inside my room

I let out a little laugh then glared at them

"Don't tell me you've got me another tutor " i deadpan as mom swallowed hard

"Ace, please i don't want you to lack more than you are already doing, please do this for mom.... please" she says softly as i scoffed looking away

"Who is it this time?"I asked scratching my brows slightly

"She will be here, hopefully today" dad says as i nod then smiled

"It's fine" i replied coolly as they both stared at each other

"Please Ace we can't lose this one too" dad adds as i shrugs looking away

~Madison~

I was beyond nervous as i stared at my hands anxiously.

"Okay Thanks maam" i said smiling. Was standing outside the school with Mrs christinefield, school was over and i am waiting for the driver to come pick me to the willows mansion.

"I ought to be thanking you Mad, you're the one that's going to do all the work" she says as a black escade rode in.

"I Am just doing my job as a teacher" i replied as a middle aged man came out of the car

"Ms Madison O'Brien?" He asked as i raised my hand slightly

"I Am here" i replied waving the principal goodbye, i entered the car as we drove off to my new work place.

The radio was on and the drive wasn't too quiet.... i didn't try to make a convo with the man neither did he, i texted Becky that i was on my way there and she replies with an emoji thumbs up.

I stare at my hands and took in a deep breathe when the driver informed me that we've arrived. I came down adjusting my blouse.

"This way" another man said as i followed him like a lost puppy, this house is damn big. He stopped walking, so did i as we stood in front of a man and a lady. The lady eyed my dressing with a scowl on her face and the man has a bright smile on his face

"Goodevening sir I am Madison O'Brien, the tutor you requested for" i said ignoring the lady's stares

"Evening my dear, I am Everest and this is my wife Fiona" he said as we shook hands

"Goodevening ma'am" i greeted stretching out my hand for an handshake, she stares at it and huff with an awkward laugh i withdrew my hand. How rude! And why is she staring at me like that?

"Humm.... how old are you if i may ask?"

"22? Aren't you too young to be a teacher?" She asks as i smiled

"I did well in school, finished highschool 14 and college 18" i replied starring at her. It was like we're having a starring contest till mr willow spoke.

"Please come with me" he said walking away

I smiled at mrs willow and excused myself walking after her husband

Starring at the pills on my palm, i cringed as i swallowed them and drank a cup of water, as much as i hate them i still need them to keep myself intact for the fights i am having.

Pulling a white shirt on, i walked out of my room, texting Nathan that i am coming over, i had to lie earlier because if they knew i passed out on the road and woke up in the hospital, they are definitely going to do everything to lock me up in the house.I sighed as a certain brown eyes flashes through my mind. My guardian Angel.

Frowning, i saw mom pouting, what's the problem now?

"What's with the face?" I asked walking close to her, she turned and sighed

"It's nothing" she replies as i nod

"Okay"

"Are you going somewhere? You've taken your pills?" She asked as i nod

"Heading to Nathan's" i replied heading to the door

"Your teacher is here, at least wait till she's gone or ask Nathan to come over here instead" she said with a pleading tone as i sighed

Walking back towards her, just as dad study room opens and he stepped out and so did she, the teacher. I swear time stopped, my breathe hitched, i froze starring at the young gorgeous being, laughing and talking with dad as they made their way towards us. Is that supposed to be my teacher?

Now I am starting to think this whole teaching thing is a bad idea.

When they got to mom and i, her large eyes grew wide and i knew she recognised me too.

That moment i knew things were bond to change.
