Chapter 3

Another fav! Really guys, thanks a lot! I decided that I'll be publishing a chapter two days in a week: on Sunday and Wednesday, just in case you're interested in this.

Here's chapter 3 of the undying rose. Hope you like it ^^

I went down to the main hall where Yui was sitting alone. She is a girl that been here before me. Poor her, she was also deceived about coming here and got stuck with the six shoe brains. I got closer to her and sat besides her. Then we began to chat a little. I can't deny that I felt really happy to have a girl as the same circumstances as me. But at the same time, I wished this girl never got here. Why? Because she was so fragile and weak to the point of her not stopping them if they suck blood out of her. I don't know why she was like this, but that made me want to protect her more. Especially after seeing her... Broken leg...

And when I asked Reiji about it...

Flashbacks

"So, what is the thing that is so urgent to make you interrupt my studies?"

"This." I pointed to Yui's leg.

"What about it?"

"What about it?! Nothing, It's just BROKEN!" I began to lose it a bit.

"Do not raise your voice." He replied coldly.

I sighed. "Fine. Can you tell me what happened?"

"She fell of the stairs. Or so I heard."

"What?!" My eyes widened.

"I assume it was when Ayato and Laito were trying to suck her blood, she got frightened and ran. And I quote Ayato's words: "She ran and didn't notice the stairs so she fell and broke her leg." " he finished and sipped his tea.

"And why they didn't catch her?! You have this...teleportation powers! You could've saved her before she fell!"

"There was nothing we could do about it besides getting her treatment." He sipped his tea once again.

I formed a fist in my hand. "You cold bastard..."

"I'll have you punished for that."

"Like I care!" I glared at him and he glared back.

Yui noticed the tense atmosphere and tried to calm us down. "Sama-chan, please stop... I'm okay, really!" She said nervously but none of us backed down.

Finally Reiji sighed and went back to read his book again. "I can't understand why are you making a big deal of this, that human is just broken." He said quietly.

(Broken...? BROKEN?!) "You freaking vampire! Just how low do you think of us?!" I snapped at him yelling loudly.

He smirked. "More than that mind of yours can imagine."

"Oh yeah?! I'll show you who's low!" I took my fist and was ready to smash it in his jaw, just when Yui caught me from behind.

"Sama-chan! Please stop!" Her grip was weak and I could easily get away from it, but the girl was shaking. I felt guilty at that point.

I sighed heavily and glared at the glasses bastard again. Then went to his desk and took a tube of his desk. "Put that back now." He said annoyed. I looked at him, then smirked and raised my hand with the tube in it, and then smashed it on the floor. "What do you think you are doing?!" He was standing now, angry and ready to whip.

"Nothing, just broke a tube." I replied lazily.

"Do you realize how much everyone of this tubes value?!"

"Chill my dear! The tube is just broken~"

He stopped for a moment, jaw dropping a little. "Do NOT place my efforts and work with this filthy human!" He yelled.

"Yeah, I mustn't. She value more of ALL of this s**t!" I yelled back then took Yui from her hand and went outside.

End of flashbacks

After that I got hand-whipped for an hour. That bastard enjoyed every moment of it. But he clearly was annoyed since I didn't flinch or made a single sound. All what I did is to glare at him telling him that I won't be affected by this. I think that what made the punishment last longer. But I didn't give a s**t! I made my point clear, and made Reiji work to make the liquid in the tube again for three whole days! He deserved it. And on the other side, I felt my hands screaming at me to stop every time I hold something with them. The pain was HELL!

One more good point, Yui seemed happy since I stood up for her, and she started to talk to me more. So that made us friends fast.

When I saw her after that, she looked really tired... "Yui-chan, you look pale, did something happen?" I was worried.

"Eh? Ah, it's nothing."

"What do you mean by nothing? You look like a ghost!"

She chuckled a bit, weakly though. "It's just that... Kanato-kun was hungry yesterday and..."

"Ugh, that emo creep! I'll show him!" I wasn't going to do it today anyway, cause it was Ayato and Laito's turn.

"Y-you don't have to! It's fine! I'm used to it..." She replied waving her hands around carelessly.

"Yui-chan."

"What is it?"

"Is this... Really fine with you...?"

She stopped and stared at me. "Y-yes... Why?"

"Why... Well, we're living with six vampires, who like to suck blood, bully, and follow girls into bathrooms like dirty old men. Not to add that we're separated from our families and not allowed to even talk to them. And for me, to make it more hellish, they have no wifi or any sort of entertainment! There's only those books that I'm not allowed to look at. And why? Cause I make them "filthy" when touching them, as a certain evil glasses said. BULLSHIT!"

She chuckled again. "Sama-chan, you're funny..."

"Don't you dare change the subject! So I'll ask one more time... How do you feel about this?"

Her smiling face faded and was replaced by a painful one. "I-I don't know..."

"You don't know...?"

"I mean, it's sad and all, and it feels like... I can't do anything to stop them... I tried... But I failed every time..." Her eyes began to tear. "I want it all to stop... I really do... But I just can't... It hurts so much but I'm still too weak to stop them... I-" (the poor girl..)

"Don't say anymore, I got your point..." I reach and hugged the sobbing girl. "So I promise, from now on, I'll do all I can to make it better. And maybe, MAYBE, someday we'll get out of this gutter..." I tapped her shoulder a bit to comfort her.

"Thank you..." She was now settled in my arms.

"Heh, the pitiful girls are comforting each other. I'm touched..." Said a voice from behind. I turned to see the takoyaki sucker.

"A-Ayato-kun..." Yui was first to react.

"Well... Got anything to say?" After seconds from me saying that I found myself pinned to the wall by one of my hands. (Ugh, shit...)

"You know, maybe I'll be the one to tame you today..." He said, eyes all dark and lusty for blood.

"Heh, I would love to see you try." I looked him in the eye challenging him.

"Still not afraid? Soon you'll be shaking just from hearing ore-sama's name." He moved closer to my face.

"Yui, get out of here. You'll get hurt." I was still looking Ayato in the eyes.

"B-but..."

"OUT. NOW!" I yelled. That made her hurry upstairs.

"Not bad... You made her go so you can have yours truly all for yourself." He smirked as he touched my neck.

"Like hell!" I said that and spit on his face.

And his face was hilarious! Guess the shock was too much. But then he regained it and pinned my other hand to the wall. I was still looking at him in the eye not budging by the pain he was causing to my hands. "Apologize to yours truly if you don't want me to break your wrists." He said glaring now at me.

I spit again. "Like I care!"

He strengthened his grip on my hands and that made me close my eyes for a moment. Then he moved and bit my neck. I felt pain piercing my skin. (Gotta do something or l'll be the supper for this sucker!) I thought as I tried to move. Nothing happened. If he was some normal human, he'd be on the floor by now. But Yeah... Those vampires were really strong. (But as if I'm gonna be stopped by that! ) I stepped on his right foot then punched him in the stomach then pushed himaway...

And after what seemed years, he finally got tired. I got out with marks on my neck and red bracelets on my wrists. He had some scratches here and there with a couple of bruises too. He was double pissed for that so I knew I'm gonna eat s**t next time.

But God! It was only the morning! How it's gonna be in the night?! Thinking about it sent chills down to my spine. (Now I'm wondering if I can survive this drama everyday without getting killed...)

Not to say that I was kinda happy I taught that stinky vampire a lesson... One more to go.

(Laito, wait for me tonight...)

I'm really sorry I didn't get to show what I had in mind for Laito, but I ended up writing Ayato's part instead. It'll be in the next chapter so look forward to it!
