Chapter 12

Well, I decided to write Reiji's dream afterall... Why? Well, I read this review about it and kept thinking of what could be in the dream for a while. I even kept thinking of it inthe exam and was smiling idioticallythat my teachers glared at me ;^^ Anyway, here's my vision of the dream. Hope you like it

Reiji's POV.

(What an annoyance...) I sighed seeing all the extra work that my useless brothers left. Why can't they grow up to be morefitting members of the Sakamaki family? That was an unanswered question to me...

"Reiji-sama, is something bothering you?"

I turned to the head butler. "No. Just the occasional work stress..." I messaged my forehead to silence my headache.

"I see. Then can I get you some tea to help you relax?"

"Yes. Please do." I decided to allow myself to rest for a period of time. The butler bowed and left. Several moments later he was back with my most favorable tea set then poured me some tea in one of the cups. I took the cup and sipped from it. Thefavor

was acceptable as usual.

As I was enjoying my tea I heard some unmannered yelling downstairs: "GIVE ME BACK MY STOCKINGS YOU PERVERT OR I'LL STAB YOU TO DEATH!"

"SHUT UP YOU'RE ANNOYING TEDDY!"

"YOU SHUT UP!"

"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!"

"AAARGH!"

I placed down my tea cup as I felt deeply annoyed. "To whom those boisterous noises belong?" I asked though I was previously aware of the answer.

"It seems that lady Sama is arguing with one of the young masters again." The butler replied quietly.

I sighed again. "That human can't be called a lady." I corrected his flaw. "I can't absorb why she can't learn her place yet with all the time that passed..." (Could it be that I'm not making myself clear enough...?) Another unanswered questionI

began to think about while sipping the rest of my tea.

"I think that she's already aware of her place, Reiji-sama. After all, she's the weak human and you're the mighty vampires from the great Sakamaki family." I surprisingly found myself choking as he said his last sentence. "Reiji-sama! Are youalright?"

I took a tissue and cleaned my mouth. "*cough* Yes, I am fine. I seem to made a mistake. *cough*..." I adjusted myself as I was finished of my tea. "Take those back. You can excuse yourself now." I returned the cup as I told the butler off. Hebowed

one more time then left. I leaned on my desk trying to erase the unneeded memory that appeared in my head. (I need to forget this immediately or else I won't be able to focus...) The butler's words reminded me of that dream, nightmareto be more

exact, that I had the day after that girl asked me for a certain thing...

Flashbacks from Reiji's dream.

"Reiji! Reiji! You have to see this!" I jolted as that girl broke into my room.

"How many times do I have to tell you to mind your manners? Do you require punishment everyday?"

I said as I glared at her to make it clear that I was disturbed.

"Sorry but it's really really important!" She was panting.

I sighed. "Make it short." I didn't have time for her.

"Ok, see this..." she showed me her teeth.

"What is there exactly to see?" I asked as I was losing my patience.

"You didn't notice?! See the sides! I have fangs!" I looked. There were there indeed.

I stared for a moment before realizing the truth. "I am not interested in your silly jokes so you'll dis-"

"It's not a joke! See!" She pulled her teeth. "It's real! I woke up today and found them there. Do you know why?"

The whole topic still looked like a joke in my eyes. "So you're saying that you woke up this morning and found them? You expect me to believe that?"

"Okay, I know it's weird and you won't believe it. But it's the truth. And the more I look at them the more I find them similar to yours..." she stood straight and rubbed her head.

"Similar to what exactly?"

"Your fangs of course! By the way, let me check again since I may be hallucinating..." she said and then went closer to me face. I didn't see it coming as she opened my mouth and looked inside.

I slapped her hand away. "That's enough of your annoying tricks. If you don't leave now, I'll make sure that you spend the rest of your week in the basement." I said as I had enough. She didn't reply and stared at me blankly. "Did I not make myself clear? Should I-"

"They're gone..." she suddenly said interrupting my speech.

"What are?" I said raising my voice slightly as I was losing my nerves.

"You're fangs... they're not there anymore!"

"I beg your pardon?" I couldn't understand her words at first.

"Here, look for yourself." She handed me a pocket mirror.

I looked to see that she was right. My eyes widened as I touched where they were supposed to be. "How could this be..."

I said as I didn't quite understand what was happening.

"I don't know. That's why I'm asking. Is this from another potion of yours?"

"No. I don't recall using any lately..." that was the truth.

She then went silent, apparently thinking. I did the same and began to analyze the current event. No solution came to my mind. "Wait, maybe it's..." she mumbled.

"You undiscovered anything?" I asked as I was unable to find something myself.

"Well, it's a bit crazy but..." she paused. "Maybe we switched places...?"

I stared at her blankly for a while. "I was wrong to think that you could find anything..." I sighed and sat back in my seat.

"Hey! It's possible you know! It's the only thing I could think about!"

"It is not possible. Waking up and turning into a human with no cause in unreasonable!" I said as the topic was getting more mysterious to me.

"I know but..." she stopped and eyed me with I look that I failed to understand into concept. "Well... there's only one way to make sure..." she said shortening the distance between us.

"I'm afraid to tell you that I'm not exactly following-" I stopped as I saw her taking my hand, undressing it from my glove then placing one of my fingers in her mouth. "What on earth?!" I found myself yelling as she bit on my finger. "Stop this instant!" I pulled my hand away from her mouth.

She looked at me, her eyes glowing and said. "It's delicious... so it's true..." she licked her mouth that was stained with my own blood.

"I demand an explanation, now." I was really ticked off by her shameful move.

"Can't you see? I'm really a vampire now for some reason! Now we just have to make sure of you too..." she approached me again and touched my bleeding hand. She took her bloodstained finger and placed it in my mouth.

"How nauseous..." I said as I was forced to taste something horrible.

She backed away. "See, you too now find blood disgusting. That proves me right!" She protested. "So, what now?"

"I do not know. This is just absurd..." I was stunned as I found out that she was right. I closed my eyes trying to think for a reason for the current situation.

"If I'm a vampire now... dies that mean that I can do that too...?" She mumbled one more time.

"Do what exactly?"

"This..." she got closer then pushed me down. "Let me try something..." she placed her hands on my wrists stopping me from making any move.

I tried to free myself, it was in vain. "Unhand me, now!" I ordered her as she didn't seem to let me free.

"Why? Can't you get away yourself?" I found no words to reply. "So I got the super vampire powers while you lost it too..." She smirked. "Do you know what that means?"

"No and I do not want to know. Now move!" I tried to move again. She didn't budge.

"Hmm... why are you ordering me around? Too bad I'm not the so low human anymore. Guess who is..." she laughed. "Yep! It's you! And know you can't get away from what I'm going to do to you, Reiji~"

I felt an unexplained beating in my heart. (So this is the feeling of a human heart...) I thought as I looked at the girl in front of me. Her eyes were completely different from the usual. "Stop this nonsense act..."

"My, you're still ordering me? Can't you get it? You're not on the top of the chain anymore..." she said as she took both of my hands in one of hers, and moved the other one till it was near my neck. "It's now me who says the orders, got it, Rei-kun?" She unwrapped my necktie and took it. Soon I was tied up by it. I felt speechless as I was in that pitying position. "Now, what to do with you first..."

"If I get normal again I'll-"

"That's wrong, Rei-kun. You have to think about the present not the future. Too bad that I decided to get you back for everything you've done to me now." She smirked more. "Now, from where should I bite? Or should I make you drink some tea poisoned from your own precious poisons? Maybe I'll even make you sleep in the basement tonight~" she began threatening me. That made me irritated.

"Do not mock me." I said trying to gain back my composed self.

"Why can't I? You used to do that all the time didn't you? Telling my that I'm worthless and my death was priceless. Want me to tell you that now? But before that..." I felt a tickling sensation as she unbuttoned my shirt.

"You asked me to let you read from my library didn't you? Stop this and I'll let you read from what you please..." I found myself trying to get to her good side as I felt powerless and unable to do anything.

"Really? Hmm..." she placed her index finger thinking. "Nope! I can read whatever I want now as you're tied up like this. And maybe I can ban you from reading them from now on!" She laughed loudly.

"Y-you can't do that!"

"O I can and I will. Get a taste of what you were making me endure. Now let me see what poison I should make you swallow first..." she looked around her then she suddenly stopped. I looked to where she was looking and froze. (Dear lord...) She was looking at my whip. "You know, I always wanted to let you feel how bad this whip hurt when you hit me with it. Never thought that I'll get the chance to do so..." she smiled devilishly. "How about we try it now? Let's see if you'll make a sound or not..." she stood up, walked towards the whip, took it in her hands and went back.

"Think about this, if you do this now, you may regret it later-"

"I won't. After all, who said that I'll be here later?"

"What do you mean?"

"Hehe, you think that I'll do this and stay here waiting for punishment? Too naive. Actually when you wake up, I'll be long gone and you won't ever find me again." She laughed again. "Now, get ready for some pain, Rei-kun~"

"No! Stop-"

"Too late! Here I go!" I she raised her hand with the whip in it. I closed my eyes as it went down hoping that this was all a nightmare...

End of the flashbacks from the dream

I opened my eyes again as I recalled the worst nightmare of my long life. (Why did I had to recall this again...) I placed my hand on my head and sighed deeply. When I woke up from that nightmare, I was still in a shock that it took me a while torealize

that it was not reality. I was barely able to sleep again that day and the my first duty when I woke up was to check if that human was still human or not. When I got sure that all was in place I returned to my room feeling true relief.

(Now that I remembered this, I need to continue my research on that girl...) I stood up as the thought crossed my mind then went to where I placed my research. I found out that it was a grave mistake when I underestimated her threat and thought thatit

was some mere bluffing. Though no history or any kind of records showed that normal humans can affect someone's dreams, I decided that she was different in some kind of way. After all, I found no explanation for me having that nightmare rightafter

she told me that. And since I don't believe in luck, I decided to silence her by handing her what she demanded, then focus on finding more about her.

(Seems like I'm still lacking some information) I thought as I opened the file once again and started working more...
