A Month Later
The air has a chill to it, but nothing my werewolf blood can’t battle. It’s the first day of January- a new beginning for a lot of things. Snow still covers the ground from the cold winter we survived.
Today is a new day, a new beginning, but it’s far more than that. Today is the day I get married to the most honorable guy I have ever met. I admit that I was upset that he marked me at first, but I wanted it. I merely wish it could have happened differently.
A few members of the pack are wounded still or in comas. After all, it’s only been a month since it happened. So it’s a small wedding, and only four other people stand around to witness our uniting.
