22: Reconnecting
Callie's POV I’ve been engaged to Gabriel for 3 months now. Things have been a little crazy since then. My days have been filled with dress shopping, food tasting and way too many other things to list. Not to mention all of the up keep and such for the orphanage. Everyone wants to rush this wedding and get it all done. We only have 3 more months until Gabe turns 28 and we need to be married by then in order for the treaty to stay valid and for Gabe to keep his crown. Even with everything going on, I still can’t get Tessa out of my head. I want nothing more than for her to be here to give me opinions on wedding dresses and to be my maid of honor. To be the one that helps me get ready for my big day. To be there by my side like we always talked about. I’ve tried calling and texting her. I’
