My Cold Husband

Chapter 1

Dawn' POV

The crowd screams as the enemy catches my strike, this game would be a tie breaker or if we can kill their moves we will win.

The ball is coming towards me and it is perfectly flying, i could smash this and if it hit good we can win. I can try.

I breath in and starts to re direction my body and ready to smash the ball with in secs.

I was focused and not even hearing any sound, i need to win this.

And in seconds i hit the ball for what i expected and then boom! the crowd is screaming, we won!

"Omg Dawn you made a winning Strike!" Mandy shouts as she wiggles me in happiness. I smiled in relief.

"WE HAVE A WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION AND UNDEFEATED!" the announcer screams as the crowd began to cheer!

it was woth it!

"Our training is totally worth it" Mandy said as she closed her locker, She is Mandy Eastridge and she is my cousin, my best friend and my sometimes enemy.

"Yeah and now we can rest ourselves in a whole day" i answered as i open my locker

"What the?!" i react when a 3 pieces of roses and chocolates reached my eyesight, Mandy then rushed to check what's inside as she laugh.

"Haha again, seems like my tummy would full of chocolates again" she said in giggle, yep i don't like sweets and everytime someone gave me i will give straight to her. She really loves it, she's the most excited people to become haha.

"So are we going to the mall? i heard there's a book signing right now, bet?" she said to me and in a snap my lips curved and my eyes shines.

"We gotta go!"

We walk our selves to the parking lot and now there's so many vehicles, there's an event so this is normal, our school is heading a foundation event so that's explain why i'm playing.

"Seems like we can't get the car out coz some stupid car owner blocks our way" mandy exclaimed. Tsk, it even park like he owns the parking lot.

"Let's call the guard" i said and pick up my phone out of my pocket and make a call

"Hello ma'am what can i do?"

"Uhm someone parks here, blocking our way out, can you do something?"

"Okay ma'am on my way"

After a few minutes he arrived and just shrugged.

"Sorry for the inconvenience ma'am, It was the School Owner's Son and he's on the way can we just wait for a while?" he said, i just nod.

"Dawn did you here that? the school owner's son. OMG so the rumors right, he will study here again" mandy said. Tsk, some sort of news, That's mandy special powers she could get news everywhere lol.

In a few seconds, a man wearing all black came, he has his black cap and black facemask, maybe he's the owner'w son. He hop into the car and drove the car away.

"Mysterious huh" Mandy mumbled i just shrugged, not even interested lol.

We hop into the car and drove away

As we arrived to the mall mandy promised to come with me to the bookstore and then i would come with her to the department store so she could buy some stuff like make up and etc. Well me? i'm not that kind of girl that would spend much money for cosmetics i'm fine with brows and lip tint.

We are now walking towards the shelf, oohh i love the smell of books, it makes me feel so relief.

I started browsing and scanning every book that is exciting for me. And Mandy is quietly looking at me with a glare as if she was saying that i need to hurry up for her turn pfft. I know he will got bored but i will enjoy now and suffer later like her haha.

My eyes is wondering at every book displayed in the shelf then my eyes got something...

'Limited Edition'

My eyes got widen in joy and i was about to get it when a hand moves towards as mine, we touched the book at the same time

"It's Mine"

We both shouted to each other as we glare.

"I saw it first!" i exclaimed.

"Nah, this is mine and back off" he said as he gave me a death glare that as if it can scares me.

"Uhm, what's the problem? why are you killing each other by the looks?" Mandy said as she approaches.

"Mandy help, this man is getting what's mine" I mumbled to her, even though i was a little afraid to this man in front of me i can't just leave this book to him, I want it.

"Guys, it's just a book" a tall man came towards us

"No it's not!" we both exclaimed while our hands is still on the book.

"So i guess no one will let it go so i'll get and why don't we play rock paper and scissor, and the person who will win will get the book?" he calmly said and whisper something to the guy infront of me. He then nods. So i guess i need to participate for the book.

"So i count to three"

he position his fist but still he got no reaction like he was saying this is lame and boring. And i was confident to win and get my book

"1,2,3" he said, i pont scissor and he pointed stone.

I was stunned, noooo! my book huhu

"So i guess this book is for the winner" the boy said and then leave, i was still in shock.

"Mandy my book" i said like i was dying.

"You can get, soon. Let's go, i'll treat you some Frappe" Mandy said and pull me away.

I exhaled.

"Maybe i could get some soon" I exclaimed.

Mandy gives me a courage look and nods her head.

"But that two guy is handsome" she said as she giggle. "Especially the guy that took the book" she continues, i just shrugged my head. He kinda looking cold guy and i think happiness is not in his vocabulary but he's a book lover i guess he didn't even insist to just give me the book. Oh i just want to read that.

Can i swap my kidney for that book? joke.lol haha

We are heading on Mandy's Happiness what else, Department store, Beauty Section.

And now her eyes is like sparkling glitters. I shrugged and she just giggled

"Oh buy all you want as soon as possible" i just said she gave me a tongue out and laugh like a child. Here we go again. Infinite time shopping....

I just let her go everywhere she wants and me? i'll look for something so that i could kill time while Mandy is enjoying.

I was walking and walking then suddenly i saw a handkerchief on the floor.

I wonder my eyes and look for it's owner but then there's none.

"Help me find that handkerchief right now, its very important" I heard a similar voice, its him.I immediately pick it up and shove it inside my bag.

I have an Idea. I can exchange it with the book, seems it is important to him. Hehe

I look around to find him, but no trace.

I walk away some point but Mandy is still on my sight. He's gone. Why so fast?

Awts, there is really no chance to have that book.

Maybe in some way i can meet him again so that i can borrow the book.

I just walk towards Mandy who's still busy choosing for her beauty products.

I took the handkerchief out of my bag and gaze on it, there's an name written on it.

And it is very familiar to me.

"Dawn?" i mumbled in shock. OMG!
