~ Disappearance ~
My feet felt like they were floating as I walked. I didn't even realize I'd entered the classroom. It's been a week since that encounter with Chary. Thorn still hasn't shown up. His phone rings, but he doesn't answer. I don't know if I should keep waiting for him or just forget about him.
"Hey, have you heard the news? Thorn's really gone." I heard from nearby, but I stayed seated.
"This is so unfair. Can't anything be done? It's all such a waste. Thorn did nothing wrong!"
"If not because of—" Their voices trailed off.
There are rumors that Thorn's scholarship has been revoked, but I refuse to believe it. If I'm at fault, if I'm the reason, I should be the one expelled. I can just transfer to another school like I always do.
Mrs. Madrid enters. I know Thorn is close
