Chapter 2 - Powers?

"AAAAAAHH" I screamed loudly. I heard Selegna's giggling behind me. I turned around and she was behind me cracking up. "Immature Selegna, immature." I rolled my eyes at her. "Enough playing around, we have to get going." Fauna demanded walking to where we were supposed to go.

There was a two way hallway, one going to the left which was very dark. And the right which was dimly lit. "Where do we go now?" Selegna asked looking both ways. "It's obvious we go the right way." I declared. "No, that's the wrong way." Fauna declared and slowly walked towards the left side. "Are you crazy?! We'll die there!" I whined. "Look, if you want to live, then you have to follow me. I know this place more than you do." Fauna commanded and headed back to where she was headed while Selegna followed.

Hesitantly I followed both Selegna and Fauna, leaving me behind.

"Another dead end?" Selegna said confused and looked at Fauna. Fauna rolled her eyes and looked at me. "Use your gem to open the door Natalia." Fauna said softly. "M- my gem? How?" I looked at her like she was crazy or something.

"Summon an orb from your gem by commanding it to give you an orb, but just think about your command. Then walk up to the wall put the orb near the wall." Fauna explained. I held out my hand, 'I command you to give me an orb' I thought. My hand glowed green for a second, scaring me a bit and a small orb was levitating on my hand. I walked up to the wall and moved my and near the wall. "Command it to open the wall."

I did as Fauna said, 'I command you to open the wall', suddenly the wall glowed. I looked back at Fauna and Slegna surprised. The door slowly but surely opened and the orb poofed into thin air.

I saw a purple-ish themed hallway. It seemed to be very new and fancy looking. "Where are we?" I whispered. "We're in the Amethine kingdom." Fauna said stepping out first. "How did we get here?" Selegna curiously asked. "From the tunnels, duh." I sarcastically said facing Selegna, unamused at my joke.

Both of us followed Fauna and we're met with Amethinian guards. "Miss Fauna, what are you doing here?" One said. "Have you not been informed of the situation?" Fauna stated and the guards cluelessly staired at the three of us. 

Fauna scoffed. "Where's the king and queen?"

"At the throne room miss."

"What's going on?" I whispered to Selegna. "I have no idea, but Fauna is acting like our mom again." Selegna whispered back. Fauna started to walk to somewhere so me and Selegna immediately followed.

After a bit of walking, we were already at a throne room looking area, where the king and queen of Amethine were sitting on their throne. "Is that you Fauna Casmien?" The king said. Out of habit me and Selegna bowed down to them. "No need for that miss Montgomery." The king said as he saw me and Selegna bowing down to them. "Have you both heard what happened?" Fauna asked them. The king looked at his wife confused. "Whatever do you mean?" The queen asked Fauna. Fauna looked a bit shocked and turned a little towards me and Selegna. "The kingdom of Esmeralda is being attacked."

"What?!" Both the king and queen said in unison, both in shock. "My baby!" the queen cried out. "Guards!" The king commanded. A lot of the Amethian guards marched in unison to the throne room. I want all of you in here to go to Esmeralda and help on the battle field!" The king commanded. All the guards marched out of the castle in unison. Damn wish I got that discipline to just follow along, I thought to myself.

The queen got up and rushed to the king. "What if they fail? What if we lose our soldiers!" I could hear the queen whisper to the king faintly. "Come on, we have to go to one more place." Fauna turned at both of me and Selegna who are completely clueless of the situation. "But we just got here!" I whined. "I haven't even been to any other kingdom exept for my home at Esmeralda and the Lazulum kingdom." Selegna added to what I said.

"We don't have time, we will go exploring when we have the time." Fauna said, hinting she was losing patience.

She then grabbed both me and Selegna's hands, and suddenly we got teleported to another place. "We could've just teleported a while ago?!" I loudly said. Fauna quickly shushed me up. "There are people here!" She whispered to me. I looked around the place, it so elegantly aesthetic. The white walls mathced with the beige highlights on the ceiling and the gold chandeliers. "Fauna Casmien." A white-ish grey haired man, with what seems to be a beige robe with hints of white. "King Arthur...." Fauna's gaze turned to a guy I am somehow familiar with. "Prince Percy, what are you doing here? You were at Esmeralda a while ago."

Hmmm, Percy.... Wait a minute...

I looked at the guy, but with more focus. I blinked my eyes twice just to make sure that I wasn't seeing things, but that's the guy who's supposed to be my "husband".

"Me and father didn't want to, be involved with the drama." The Percy guy said, taking charge.

"So you're aware of the situation?" Fauna asked, staring down at both father and son. "Yes we are aware." Arthur, Percy's father said confidently.

Fauna turned at both me and Selegna as if she was waiting for something. "You're not going to help them?" Fauna confidently asked. "Nope." Arthur said, popping the "p" as he sits down his throne. "You're one of Esmeralda's allies! Why wouldn't you send you help to Esmeralda?" Fauna, very confused and irritatedly said. "Like I said, we don't want to be involved." Percy interviened.

I felt like I have to do something about this. I am, soon to be queen of Esmeralda. I should be there in Esmeralda and help the other fight for my kingdom! And this ignorrant duche won't even help his ally.

"Excuse me, but this is my kingdom we're talking about!" I interviened, sounding a bit angry.

Then Percy turned around to look at me. "And we don't want to be involved." Percy said, looking me up and down. I didn't know what else to do,

I looked back at the two, and looked at Fauna and Selegna. "Aren't you supposed to our allies? Because if you don't go and help my kingdom out, I will make sure to let your kingdom rot." I noticed my sight turned a bit green after I said that. Both Arthur and Percy looked at each other, then looked at me, then each other, then back at me.

"Still, nope." Arthur said popping the "p". What does this guy even need? Do I offer him something? I asked myself. I got to the conclusion that I should in fact be civil and just leave, concidering they woouldn't even help my kingdom.

"King Arthur, let this day be remembered, for you have lost an ally." I said trying to stay calm. King Arthur didn't even flinch, its like he already has a million armies to protec his kingdom.

I saw the same black silouette behind king Arthur, it doesn't look like his shadow because his shadow is infront of him. I turned to look at Fauna, from the look on her face she saw that too. "Good luck King Arthur." I said grabbing both Selegna and Fauna. "Why are we back here? We could get killed!" Fauna declared. I looked around more, and it's the castle garden.

"I- I should stay here." Selegna stutterd and started to walked to the back door. "Selegna wait!" I called out. She turns to me with a little smile. "I was born in Esmeralda, therefor I should fight for my home." Then Selegna walked inside the caste. I shed a tear for I know my friend won't come out of there.

Fauna grabbed my arm and we were somewhere I have never been. The place was very, light green. I almost mistaken it for my kingdom, but I know my place is earth-y green. "Is that you miss Natalia Montgomery?" A faint female voice called out. I turned around and we were at the kingdom's throne room. "Queen Grace Feinstein." Fauna said and as of habit I bowed down. "Where's my son?" She cried out. "So you are aware of what happened to Esmeralda?" I asked. "I- umm," The queen stuttered. "A messenger from the kingdom of Perrylium told me." Gaining her composure again. "I thought he did the deed already." I heard a faint whisper. I looked around, and there were just two guards that were nowhere near us, Fauna beside me looking at the queen and the queen herself.

"Did  you hear that?" I whispered to Fauna. "Heard what?" Fauna replied. How come she didn't hear what I  heard? I thought to myself. "N- nothing." I replied. The queen's dead shot grey-ish eyes were looking right on us. Its like she was staring into our soul.

I stared at the queens gray-ish eyes and I saw a black flicker on the side of her eye. "What was that?" I said, staring at the queen and the queen quickly looked away. "I said that out loud did I?" I asked turning to Fauna, Fauna shook her head feeling I guess embarrased. I turn my eyes back at the queen, knowing  something was shady... no something was wrong. They're here I heard the faint whisper again. As I heard  the whisper the queen vanished. Leaving a trace of red and white dust. "Something is definitely wrong now." I said allowed. Both me and Fauna turned to each other confused. I felt the ground shake a bit and grabbed Fauna's hand and I teleported us both to the back of the throne room. We both took a peek and black and red fog entered the castle. Emerging is the woman again. "Oh Tal~ Come out come out whereever you are~"
