Sam was happy to attend the Christian Church alongside his aunt who was afraid she might not get to go for a while since she hated to attend by herself and Uncle George just didn’t feel up to it. The sermon was on taking advantage of our freedom to spread the word of God, and Sam listened intently to each word Pastor Lloyd said. He attended a church in New York City, but things were definitely different here. People were so much friendlier here, down to earth, and he was beginning to realize there were a lot of things about small town life he really liked.
