Mia's P.O.V
"The only way anyone can hurt me is by hurting you, anything other than that won't work." He says to her as I look through the window. Waking up I push my hair to the back, his words keep replaying in my head over and over again. Why is he doing this to me? He said he cares about me but he's hurting me. Yet he can protect her?
"I told you he doesn't love you." The voice in my head echoes.
"Shut up!"
"She's getting in the way."
"Keep quiet!" Covering my ears I pull my knees to my chest and put my head down.
"We almost had him but she got in the way. She's the problem." I keep shaking my head. "If you remove her, Cy will be ours again." When she says this my body stops moving and I look up.
"She's the problem?"
"Yes and if you remove her, Cy will come back to us."
