Ciro felt dizzy as he was thrown out to the edge of the hallway. His vision became blurry, his body felt weak and defenseless. He could somehow see Selene standing at the other side staring at him and the vampire that's about to kill him.
The newborn pounces at Ciro but was pushed away from him. He was coming in and out of his consciousness but could still see the fight that is going on between Selene and the bloodsucker.
He tries to shake off the dizziness and blinks rapidly. He sits up to get his composure.
Selene is now holding the vampire to the ground, pinning him with all her might. She screams continuously as she's being pushed and thrown at the sides. She stands up as if not being hurt and still takes the pursuit of the attacker.
